The Corpse Bride
The Corpse Bride is a classic by Tim Burton that debuted in 2005. The animation is made in stop-motion and suitable for families with older children.
The film tells the story of Victor, who, by taking his wedding vows in a forest, brings a murdered bride back to the world of the living. The film then deals with this love of the bride for the living man and the adventures of the two between the two worlds, as they try to find out who was responsible for the death of Corpse Bride.
The Corpse Bride won a nomination in the Best Animation category at the 78th edition of Oscar, but who took the prize that year was another film, also in stop motion: Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

A Viagem de Chihiro
I sawact of Chihiro is a 2001 animation by Studio Ghibli, the famous Japanese animation studio known for this and other classics that have been successful since its launch.
The film tells the story of the girl Chihiro, who is moving to a different city with her parents. As they are heading to the house, her father decides to take a shortcut, causing them to come across a table full of food, but with no one around.
Chihiro's parents eat mindlessly, but she doesn't feel confident in what was laid out on the table. Her parents are then turned into pigs, causing only Chihiro to be able to save them.
A Viagem de Chihiro beat Oscar for Best Animation in 2003, being the first hand-drawn film without English as the original language to win in this category. The film also received the golden bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2002 and is one of the films that should be watched by children up to the age of 14 made by the British Film Institute, in addition to being considered the BBC's fourth best film of the century.

Inside Out
This movie from Pixar became an instant classic as it won over children, youth and adults upon its launch in 2015.
Inside Out talks about Riley, a girl who is experiencing new emotions when she moves to a new place. The girl has little people who live inside her head, who organize her actions and memories, being: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear and Anger. Emotions can also influence Riley's memories: if Sadness touches, for example, a happy memory, it becomes sad by focusing on the worst aspects of the memory.
The adventure begins after Riley moves in, and after Sadness causes a memory about this new life to be sad, Joy decides to go after that memory before it is stored away forever. Joy and Sadness then go through Riley's mind to where the memories are.
Inside Out beat Oscar for Best Animated Film in 2016.

The fantastic chocolate factory
Tim Burton's version of the 1971 classic turned the story of little Charlie and his day in Fantastic Chocolate Factory of Willy Wonka in an adventure with music, oddities and with the greater development of the characters involved.
In this 2005 feature, we have the children who accompany Charlie after finding the golden ticket hidden inside the Wonka chocolate bars. Burton's version explores the origin of Willy Wonka, his relationships with his father, and Charlie's dynamic with his family.
In addition to, of course, captivating music and characters that make the movie great entertainment for the whole family.

Matilda
Matilda is a 1996 classic that was shown several times in the Afternoon Session, but which does not fail to enchant young people and adults of several different generations.
The film talks about the little girl Matilda, who lives with rude and ignorant parents who despise and treat her badly. Matilda enjoys reading and going to school, where she meets a kind teacher who encourages her for her intelligence and takes care of her, making the girl feel special — which, in fact, she is: throughout the film, Matilda discovers who has magical powers.
The film also shows Matilda's adventures at her school, with a headmistress who terrorizes children — like the classic and ghastly chocolate cake scene. The girl then becomes the defender of the other students and, together with the teacher, does justice for the school.
Matilda it's a cute movie to watch with the family in Netflix, with a happy ending to warm the heart.

Procurando Dory
The blue fish Dory conquered children and adults in the movie Procurando nemo. With her charisma and short memory, Dory won a solo movie, with her own adventure after helping the fish Marlin find his son Nemo.
A year after helping her friend, Dory — even with her goldfish memory — has an insight and reminisces about her family. Missing and wanting to get her family back, she decides to do everything and cross the sea to find them again.
Like Marlin, Dory faces danger and makes friends along the way.

Madagascar
The animation Madagascar is a film for the whole family focused on the lives of animals, available at Netflix. The plot talks about four animals: a lion, a zebra, a giraffe and a hippopotamus that are the highlights of the Central Park Zoo in New York.
However, the animals end up being sent to the island of Madagascar, being trapped in the place full of nature – which they never knew, as they were bred in captivity.
The New York animals then go on an adventure to try to get back home, but they end up discovering other things that are important along the way.

Klaus
Klaus was the Christmas movie released by Netflix last year for the whole family to watch over the holidays.
Jesper is the worst student at the Postman Academy and wins a mission to go to an icy island in the Arctic, where the residents don't even speak - let alone exchange letters.
Mailman Jesper is on the verge of giving up when he befriends Klaus, a carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of self-made toys. This friendship ends up bringing joy to the city and creates a new tradition: with generous neighbors and friends, with lively parties and magic socks hanging from the chimney.
Klaus is run by one of the creators of My favorite evil, Sergio Pablos.

The Willoughby brothers
The Willoughby Brothers is the new animation of Netflix about a not so normal family. The four brothers are convinced that life would be easier without their selfish and evil parents around, so to that end, they plan a trip around the world that is almost impossible to survive.
The kids then meet their new nanny and go on an adventure that will teach them the true meaning of having a family.

My favorite evil
Now a successful franchise, My favorite evil started in 2010 with this story about a family formed in an unusual way. The villain Gru steals the Moon, but after this ruse, it is stolen by another villain.
To recover what he stole first, Gru decides to adopt three orphans who sell cookies in order to get into the other villain's lair. What Gru didn't expect was to get attached to the three girls and make the fake family become a real one.
The film also introduced the world to the Minions, which became a worldwide fever and even won their own movie.
