A Blind Legend: Game for the visually impaired

How about a video game without video? This is the proposal of the game The Blind Legend, developed by Dowino, a French company that creates games, applications and movies.

And the most interesting thing is that the game was financed by crowdfunding on ulule. The initial fundraising goal of 40.000 euros has already been reached, but there are other goals to add more information to the game. the game will be Free for users, a great initiative. How about helping with the other goals?

The game

You will play Edward Blake (in first person), a knight whose wife, Dame Caroline, has been kidnapped by the fearsome Thork, guardian of the High Castle Island dungeon and his sworn enemy.

On the day of the kidnapping, Thorks gouges out Blake's eyes...

Guided by his daughter Louise, he sets out to face Thork's army, defying all obstacles in order to save his wife.

And so you set off on a long journey… You will cross forests and gigantic mountains, battle a raging sea, avoid the dangers of the High Castle dungeons in order to face Thork in a relentless duel. The journey will be filled with traps, encounters and, of course, combat galore.

How does the game work?

The game's proposal is very simple: there is nothing visual, only three-dimensional sounds that put the player in true immersion within the game's environment. The player uses only simple commands on the cell phone that will guide the character along the paths.
