Age of Empires II Definitive Edition is now available on Xbox

Originally released in 1999 under the name of Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, the remastered version of this title is called Age of Empires II Definitive Edition. The re-release has a reason: it's been 20 years since the original game was released.

Re-released for PCs in 2019, Age of Empires II Definitive Edition It has received over 40 updates, 3 DLC additions, and a steady stream of improvements, with 38 maps, 42 multiplayer civilizations, 34 solo campaigns, 10 multiplayer modes, and 7 co-op campaigns. Xbox owners can now access everything at no additional cost.

It can be said that the game was much requested by players who have the Xbox and have had enough fun on the computer. As you know, it is necessary to create an empire from scratch and carry out all the management to succeed amidst the problems that appear in the middle of the game's journey. It is interesting to mention that the franchise Age Of Empires has always been acclaimed by the gaming fan community and since its launch in 1997, more than 25 million copies have been sold on the most diverse platforms. But Age of Empires II Definitive Edition had never been released for Xbox. This changes from January 31, 2023.

Now available for Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, all players who purchased the base game on Microsoft Store can connect their account and enjoy the title on their console at no additional cost. The Xbox developer has not commented on whether progress on PC will be able to be continued on console, but apparently not.

To influence players, developers will give a against of confetti for those who enjoy the title on Xbox between January 31st and February 14th. The most interesting edition is the Deluxe Definitive Edition Bundle, which has all the updates Lords of the West, Dawn of the Dukes e Dynasties of India.

Rulers armed with an Xbox controller can now prove their worth in over 200 hours of historical gameplay spanning over 1000 years of human history across 35 civilizations. Experience world historic moments from the comfort of home.
