After the success on Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, now it's time for YouTube to launch its new Stories tool. Feature will benefit the platform's content creators.

Since the announcement of the interest of the Youtube to join the resource Stories, the digital world has been taken over by a mix-up of news and assumptions between the video platform and its competition. But the rumors are real and the stories are coming for good, whether that's good or bad. It is possible to access a new way to acquire content via Android and iOS. Who gains from all this? The content creators themselves, who gain another trump card to promote their work on the platform.

Youtube Stories: The Lifespan of a Fly

Initially introduced by some personalities from the 30th of November, still in beta. It's not very different from what you already know and tested on other competing platforms, that is, it's 15 seconds of unprecedented content. The big news is the length of time. Since Youtube stories don't have an average video of just one day, but a week.

The idea is that the video provides greater engagement, interaction and sharing by the targeted audience. Therefore, unlike other platforms, comments are not directed only to the creator of that content, but to an interactive chat, in which creator and audience can communicate. Which is nice, because it facilitates interaction and excludes the notion of exclusivity. The collective always wins and the notion of community is reinforced. Point for Youtube.

Now it's youtube's turn to bet on stories, learn how to use it. After the success on instagram, facebook and whatsapp, now it's youtube's turn to launch its new stories tool. Feature will benefit the platform's content creators.

For now, only channels with more than 10 followers can apply during this beta testing phase. To do so, it is necessary to read the platform guidelines and answer a quick quiz at the end. It is worth remembering that the feature is only available for the mobile version, in the platform application. So there will be a small change in the layout.

You will be able to identify a tab dedicated only to this, which does not show the stories of the channels of your choice, as well as the most viewed by the platform as a whole. The idea is that you have access to other channels, being able to subscribe directly in this tab. In this way, the tool, the company believes, can become a new resource that invites new people to get to know the work of content creators on the platform.

While there is still no confirmation of the beta version moving to the definitive version, Youtube is committed to always carrying out updates in order to promote comfort and quality to users.
