A Amazon sent an email to a select group of Brazilian customers last week to invite them to test the Alexa, your voice assistant. Users will receive a device Echo to speaker managed by Alexa.

A Amazon says, in the invitation email, to be “happy to bring Alexa to Brazil” and asks consumers to “help you refine your capabilities in the coming months”.

As is expected, the Alexa will perform limited functions in the Brazilian Portuguese language. In the email, the Amazon commits to releasing new features during the trial period, but it has not been detailed how long the trial period will last, or even when it will start.

The arrival of Alexa in Brazil also signals the launch of devices Echo in the Brazilian store, as well as the new models of Fire TV Stick with wizard support. A new market could open up in Brazil, with other companies launching their Internet of Things linked by Alexaat speakers even locks.

Recently the Amazon inaugurated a new distribution center in Brazil to deliver 120 thousand products. Thus, Brazilian consumers take advantage of the company's fast deliveries, even on the same day, depending on the location. Like books, the Amazon offers free shipping throughout Brazil on purchases over R$ 149,00.

The latest news claims that the subscription service Prime should arrive in Brazil. O Prime Video is now available in our country, and the Prime Music has been flagged but not yet released here. THE BTG Actual, a Brazilian investment bank, believes that the growing application of capital in Brazil will result in the launch of the signature Prime complete in the country.
