Amazon plans to launch its own TV in the US soon

With the current success of Prime Video and the possible opening of department stores in the United States, the Amazon intends to launch its own TV in the country and understand another market with its name. The information is from the website Business Insider.

The insertion of Amazon in the competitive US TV market marks another step in the company's expansion, which is currently on the rise. Some details about the TV were also released. The device will have Alexa built-in and will be produced by other manufacturers. One of those mentioned is TCL, which also makes its own devices in China. It is believed that the models of Amazon in the 55” to 75” range. If the launch occurs, this will be another attempt by the company to place home appliances on the market. In 2018, Amazon even announced a series of devices with the Alexa such as, for example, a microwave oven, but the initiative was not so successful.

According to rumors, the project is an expansion of the AmazonBasics TV, active in India and launched at the end of last year at the approximate price of US$ 588 (55”), equivalent to R$ 3.044,08. This device in question is associated with other companies, while the devices are sold with the software Fire TV integrated. It remains to wait for the next few months to see what the Amazon is preparing for its consumers.
