The technology professions have been experiencing exponential growth, both in the very heated market for the sector and in the interest of students who want to enter higher education. For example, in 2019, according to data from Caged, computing-related professions accounted for more than 60 thousand hires of higher education and had salary increase of 14,1%, higher than the 4,3% inflation in the period, according to the IPCA.
On the education side, as many students are interested in entering colleges in the area. In 2018 (the year of the last Census of Higher Education available), 143.557 students joined em computer courses, up 26,12% compared to 2017, which registered 113.825 new enrollments. Focusing only on the course Systems Analysis and Development, the number of enrollments jumped from 51.545 to 80.781, up 56,7%.
But what is the best college to choose? With that in mind, the showmetech listed the 72 best Faculties of Systems Analysis and Development in Brazil. The survey was carried out based on the Faculty Guide, university ranking developed by Quero Bolsa in partnership with Estadão.
How does the Faculty Guide work?
Guia da Faculdade is a ranking made by Quero Educação in partnership with Estadão, with the help of more than 6 thousand teachers. They voluntarily evaluated the courses on three different criteria: quality of the pedagogical political project, faculty and infrastructure.
All higher education institutions in Brazil were invited, with 90% of them (more than 2 thousand) deciding to participate. Altogether, they are almost 12 thousand courses evaluated. In the end, each of them received a specific number of stars:
- Not starred;
- 3 – good;
- 4 – very good;
- 5 – excellent.

How can I study at one of these universities?
The main way to enter higher education is through the National High School Exam (Enem). With the exam score, you have access to the main government programs (Info, prouni e Fies).
