Android 9 Pie: Google releases final version of the system

O Google presented today (06), by surprise, the final version of the new system Android. Available first for the smartphone lineup Google Pixel, it also finally has a name: Android 9 Pie or simply, Android Pie.

Much of the system's interface has been reworked according to updated guidelines from the "material design” – set of design assumptions and interface creation – meaning that it is increasingly in line with minimalist practices and non-excessive information preached by Google itself. Design Changes

Some of the major changes include new features for the notifications panel, now a little more clean, and a major change in the area dedicated to recent apps (they now move horizontally). the area of shortcuts for quick settings also underwent changes.

The new gesture navigation system, had already appeared on different devices, with adaptations and adjustments from other manufacturers.

Another interesting feature that comes with the Android Pie they are the "Slices"(pieces, in free translation). Searches deliver “pieces” of the information sought to the user, extracted from the apps, speeding up searches and obtaining answers.

We saw this example in the autocomplete results of Google, but this will likely be a way for apps to provide a built-in UI to the Google Assistant.
