Remember the previous episode
In the 5th episode of the series Rings of Power da Amazon Prime, we saw Galadriel and the humans in Númenor prepare and train for battle in the Southlands. Halbrand initially didn't want to get involved, which seemed to be something resulting from being in a peaceful and prosperous place, but Galadriel managed to convince him to join the ship heading into battle.
Still in Númenor, Isildur is very eager to be among the soldiers who will participate in the combat against the orcs in the Southlands, but could not find his place. When trying to sneak into one of the ships, he tries to prevent sabotage by Kemen, who wanted to destroy part of the fleet - an embarrassment that ends up resulting in the loss of one of the ships and in Kemen needing to be saved by Isildur, summoned to the army as a horse caretaker.
At the core of Hairyfoot, we see that almost everyone wants Nori and her family to be left behind because they don't trust Stranger. However, when they are attacked by wolves, the mysterious character ends up saving them by using magic, an action he performs at the cost of wounding himself - a moment that results in Nori touching the wound and connecting at the level of thought with it, process. apparently painful as the girl asks it to stop as soon as possible.

Finally, Adar, the corrupted elf called by the orcs of father, receives human allies led by Waldreg, a human who claims to be a servant of Sauron. When swearing obedience, the villain mentions Sauron, which Adar reacts angrily, and then asks for blood sacrifice and indicates killing a young man who accompanied him.
Returning to the settlement of humans who decided to fight Adar, According to the show the arondir the fist he found, and the elf discovers that it is a key, and the objective that Adar seeks in the Southern Lands.
Meanwhile, in Lindon, we see the union between dwarves and elves, when Elrond tell to Durin that the purpose of their visits to the dwarven realm was the search for something that could save the Light from Eldar, which is being corrupted and is fading, which would mean the end of the elves. The elf apologizes for Durin, not knowing that was the reason, but also asks his friend for help, since the Mithril that the dwarf gave him as a gift could be the solution to this problem
Episode 6: Darkness Falls on Humans
The episode begins with the proof of the humans' alliance with Adar, when we see that Waldreg really made the sacrifice ordered by the elf, who announces the attack on humans who did not surrender saying that some will die in this fight, but will no longer live as slaves. but as brothers in your home in defeating your enemy.
Upon arriving at the settlement, Adar sees the face of Sauron carved in stone and Waldreg asks about their former master, but before he can get the answer, they are ambushed by Arondir. the army of Adar seems to have been defeated and buried under the rubble of the tower destroyed by arondir, which escapes the orcs and returns to the other humans, who celebrate the success of his plan. But browyn knows that victory was too easy, and asks them to prepare for more battles.
During the preparation of the humans of the southern lands, we see another tender moment between browyn e arondir. The elf tells of her people's tradition of planting a tree before a battle, which the human says is a challenge of life against death. Arondir holds his hand and promises that they will plant others after winning in their garden, along with Theo and then they finally kiss. Another important moment is when Arondir tries in every way to destroy Sauron's Fist, which obviously doesn't suffer the slightest scratch from the elf's attacks.

When the night Comes, arondir see the army of Adar approaching and another battle begins. Once again humans attack their opponents with traps, but also bows and arrows, spears and swords. In one of the most tense moments of the series so far, we see a clash between Arondir and a orc, who removes the knife that was stuck in his eye and begins to force it to do the same against the elf, who is bathed in the enemy's black blood, until he is saved by his beloved. browyn.
The humans are once again victorious, but Arondir notices something strange: red blood from one of his opponents. They then discover that they were mainly fighting their former friends, neighbors and family members who had defected, which means that the army of Adar was yet to come.
Arrows begin to fly, hitting the already tired humans, and between them browyn, who is taken into the tavern and loses a lot of blood to the point of passing out, before According to the e arondir manage to stop the bleeding. When they find themselves cornered in the tavern, the humans become prisoners of Adar, who begins to kill them one by one behind the fist he seeks, in the face of their refusal. arondir.
As a consequence of this action, and the threat of Adar of kill browyn, According to the finally hand over the fist of Sauron all with the villain. Upon leaving the tavern with a fist and a quest to Waldreg, Adar then see the army of number arriving in the Southlands and obliterating their children.

At this moment we are gifted with the battle skills of Galadriel, which dodges spears as it rides and attacks enemies, chasing fleeing Adar. The moment is so spectacular that even the characters admire her and Arondir then explains to Theo her importance to the elves. She then uses magic to make her horse run even faster and soon catches up with her. Adar, who carried the bundle of Sauron's Fist, in the forests.
At this time, half rim knocks the enemy off his horse and subdues him and we discover they have a past when the human asks if the elf remembers him. We can deduce from this conversation that Adar probably attacked Halbrand and where he lived at some point, but Adar just doesn't seem to have the slightest idea what human rancor is all about.
King Halbrand? Are we in Mordor?
Adar is imprisoned and interrogated by them and we discover that he is an elf corrupted by Morgoth, creating the children of darkness, the first orcs. Yea, orcs ( uruk, as Adar says they prefer to be called) are originally elves! Galadriel looks for Sauron and asks about him for the uruk, which then claims to have slain Sauron!
According to him, Sauron had sacrificed many of his children in his ambitions to heal Middle-earth, which made him weary of following him. Galadriel gets tired of the conversation and threatens to arrest Adar, kill all her orcs and only then kill him, which causes Adar to say that the search for Galadriel's successor to Morgoth may end when she looks in the mirror. The elf was staring into the abyss too much and he had already turned his eyes back to her.
We don't see the end of Adar because half rim prevents the elf from killing the uruk cold blood. When they return to the humans, we see Queen Regent Míriel talking to browyn and, with the arrival of half rim, Míriel introduces them both. Upon seeing the crest on Halbrand's robes, the main revelation of the episode occurs: he is the king of the Southlands! He is hailed as ruler by all survivors.
Theo has a conversation with arondir, who sees the boy's grief despite the battle's victory. The boy talks about his feeling of loss, both for everything that had happened, and the loss of the power he had with the Fist. arondir hands over the package that Adar had carried and asks According to the delivered to the army of number for them to play in the depths of the sea. At that moment, Theo realizes that something is wrong, and when he opens the package, he sees only an axe.
And then we come to the moment that the entire series was preparing so far: Waldreg is seen with the Fist turning into a sword from the human's blood in the ruins of the tower that had the face of Sauron carved, Adar was just a distraction from the goal being achieved. He then drives the sword into the stone and uses the key to activate a mechanism that causes the ground to start shaking and the nearby river to start gushing with much more force, escaping the dams and destroying everything in its path.
Os orcs survivors begin to repeat the chant Udun (the name of the episode), as we see the water of the river passing under the village, taking the path that the orcs had dug, creating a new course for the river. The water then begins to fall into the depths of the mountain neighboring the Southern Lands, reaching the lava, which causes the mountain to turn into a volcano, spreading ash, fireballs and destruction, which soon reaches the village.
Adar had already escaped his bonds and the episode ends with Galadriel vanishing in a sea of ash and blood red clouds, completely helpless in the face of the successful plan of the uruk. At this time, we realize that the Southern Lands are not known by that name anymore in the future shown in Lord of the Rings, but by its new name: Mordor.
Now, it's another week of waiting for another episode to answer some questions that remained: if Adar tomcat Sauron, as it returns in The Hobbit? Who is it half rim? What happened in your past? As Sauron takes control of Mordor and orcs for you? Scenes for the next chapters.
