After the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris, France, this past Sunday, several groups showed solidarity and decided to help fight the Islamic State, the author of the attacks.

O hacker group Anonymous declared war to the movement and even having been called “idiots” by the members of the IS, who said that they only know how to hack emails and Twitter accounts, they have already shown that they can collaborate in this hunt.

Just one day after the declarations they already claimed to take down more than 5.500 Twitter accounts linked to the terrorist organization and have now released a guide to encourage people to participate in cyber warfare against ISIS.

The guide has three instructions for those who want to collaborate with #OpParis, name of the IE attack operation orchestrated by Anonymous, and range from a “Guide for Noobs” that teaches the basics of how to hack, a guide to “report” profiles and using a Twitter bot to discover ISIS members and a more advanced one on how to find terrorist-related sites.

Group members encourage those who participate in IRC discussions to take some action: “instead of sitting around (…) doing nothing”, “your contribution means a lot and we encourage you to participate in as many activities of the operation as you can, the more the better”.
