Apple launches app for Android users to migrate to iOS

A Apple today made its first app available on Play Store. O Apple Music is still being developed, but the app “Move to iOS” is the one who opens the doors. The tool is available to users who intend to leave the platform Google and start using a iPhone, iPad or iPod.

The app was announced on WWDC, along with iOS 9 and promises “in just a few steps, automatically and securely migrate all the content on your Android device to an iOS device.” Just like the app Motorola migration, it allows you to pass the message history, photos, videos, contacts, email accounts, among others.

To transfer the contents, the Apple does not send anything to the cloud. In fact, the device receiving the content automatically creates a private wifi network, asks the user for a security code and then transfers all the data “to the right places”.

The app is compatible with any device iOS running version 9, recently released. At the Android, you must have a device that has the Android 4.0 KitKat or higher.
