A Apple presented, today (7), its newest line of smartphones. Bringing news inside and out, the new models of iPhone 14 promise to go further than the previous generation, thanks to the presence of a new chipset, more powerful cameras and unprecedented features. are they the iPhone 14, 14 iPhone Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Check out, below, all the news of the releases in detail!
iPhone 14 and 14 Plus

With few changes to its design, both the iPhone 14 as much as 14 iPhone Plus arrive with a look very similar to the predecessor line. The big highlight, however, is the screen size of both devices: while the standard version maintains the size of 6,1″ screen of the iPhone 13, the Plus variant adopts a 6,7″ large screen, ideal for those who want more reading space on a daily basis.
The two screens still have Retina display, HDR, 1200 nits brightness, haptic touch, support Dolby Vision and work at a 60 Hz refresh rate, going against some rumors that said they would be 90 Hz. Protecting it all is the ceramic shield, a kind of “shield” — as the name suggests — developed in partnership with the Corning and that promises even four times more screen resistance.
Both devices still maintained the notch of the previous edition, in addition to adopting the same aluminum sides and a straighter design. The camera compartment also grew across the line, especially in the Pro e Pro Max (which we'll talk about later), thanks to the larger lenses. Their arrangement follows the same as the previous models: two diagonally, giving that so traditional air in the smartphone line of the Apple .

In terms of hardware, for the first time in history we've had a sharper split in device specs. While the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus board the chipset A15 Bionic with one 5-core GPU, the same processor present in the predecessor line, the models 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max count on the new A16 Bionic. As usual, the Apple did not disclose the amount of RAM, nor the battery capacity and internal storage of both devices. However, it promises the greatest autonomy ever seen in these two models.
When talking about cameras, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus come equipped with a main sensor and an ultrawide 12 MP each. Thinking about improving the capture of images in low light environments, the Apple improved its sensors, increasing the aperture to f/1.5. According to Tim Cook's company, this will result in Up to 49% better results in low light conditions, compared to last year's generation.
On the front, the Apple also brings news, with a new 12 MP TrueDepth camera with autofocus. Thinking of also bringing improvements in color rendering, the manufacturer also introduced a technology which it calls “Photonic Engine”. And for those who love recording videos, the new iPhone 14 also receive a new stabilization mode called action mode, which uses all sensors, giving a gimbal firmness, allowing greater stability while recording.
Both models arrive with the iOS 16, which offers a revamped lock screen along with new communication, sharing and intelligence features. In terms of visuals, the devices will be sold in Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and Red. They are also protected from common spills and accidents, as well as being water and dust resistant.
iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max

Soon after revealing the iPhone 14 e 14 Plus, Apple also showed the world its most robust and complete releases, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Both devices have a new pill-shaped cutout that replaces the notch and can adjust dynamically, in the first major screen redesign since the company launched the iPhone X in 2017. With that, we have a smaller solution, which houses all the frontal sensors, with dynamic animations that provide greater frontal use, but without losing the traditional design in the notch.
The iiPhone 14 Pro e 14 Pro Max repeat the scheme 6,1″ and 6,7″ display. Now, with the screen always on, users will be able to consult the time, schedule and other activities just by swiping their eyes on the device's screen, something that already happens on devices Android, for example. In addition to the resource Always-On Display, another highlight of the models Pro e Pro Max is Enhanced brightness to up to 2.000 nits. In addition, the company promises a very energy efficient panel, with down to as low as 1 Hz in order to save energy.

For those looking for greater processing capacity and speed during use, the Pro do iPhone 14 become the best bets, as they rely on the A16 Bionic Processor, created by the Apple and manufactured in a four-nanometer process, which increases energy efficiency. The six-core CPU includes two high-performance cores that use 20% less energy and four efficiency cores that use a third of competitors' chips. The RAM memory is 6 GB in the LPDDR 5 standard, faster in the transmission of information.
Going to the variants camera set Pro, we have, for the first time in the history of the iPhone, a 48 MP main camera, which will offer improvements for low-light photography, all using a quad-pixel sensor, which merges four pixels into one to enhance the amount of detail recorded. In addition, the sensors also have f/1.78 aperture e 24mm focal length. The company promises twice as good night performance, in relation to iPhone 13 Pro.
As with the two most basic models, the variants Pro also come with a new front camera TrueDepth on f/1,9 aperture that enables better low-light performance for stills and videos, plus autofocus for capturing group shots from farther away. The devices also deliver a new and redesigned set of nine LEDs that make up the Adaptive True Tone, able to change pattern based on chosen focal length.
Finishing up the cameras and recording part, they also have the new Mode of Action mentioned above, in addition to having a Cinematic Mode able to record in 4K at 30 fps and support ProRes e Dolby Vision HDR.
Unprecedented security features
In addition to the announcements of new devices, the Apple introduced several novelties that aim to bring more protection to its consumers. This is the case with the new feature that allows you to ask for help via satellite. With it, if the user is in a place without an operator signal and needs some emergency service, he will be able to “calibrate” and tune his smartphone to the satellite and then he will be able to send a help message.
The feature, called Emergency SOS, combines custom components deeply integrated into the software to allow antennas to connect directly to a satellite. Initially, the emergency service of the Apple will only be available to users in the US and Canada. In addition, he will free for a period of 2 years, later being charged for an amount not yet disclosed by the company.
