At its traditional launch event that takes place in September, Apple announced its new products for the end of this year. In addition to the new iPhone 16 and AirPods, we also saw the launch of the Apple Watch Series 10 and a new color of the Watch 2 Ultra, launched in 2023. Apple Watch Series 10
Let's first take a look at the model, which has a larger screen but a lower price. The company has announced a design refinement, increased sound output that allows users to listen to music directly through the watch, and even a sleep apnea detection function.
Design
O Apple Watch Series 10 features a more refined design and is the thinnest Apple has ever created, with just 9,7 mm thick. To achieve this size, the Apple redesigned several components, including the SiP processor, digital crown, speaker, crystal display and antenna, providing a more compact and elegant format, without compromising performance and innovations.
The new design offers three color options for the standard aluminum model: Jet Black, Rose Gold and Silver Aluminum.
There is also a special version made in polished titanium, which also offers three color options: Natural, Gold and Gray, standing out for its durability and premium finish.
Wristbands
A Apple also updated the Milanese and link style bracelets to align with the new titanium cases of the Apple Watch Series 10, combining elegance and sophistication in both items. Milanese bracelets now come in the colors Natural e Blue Cloud, providing users with even more options for device customization.
The new collection Hermès also stands out, with bracelets that reflect the French brand's tradition of artisanal production and the use of fine fabrics. The bracelet Twist, inspired by naval currents, is available in versions simple tour e double tower, with three vibrant color options. O Apple Watch Series 10 offers battery life of up to 18 hours of use under normal conditions. For those who need even more time away from the charger, the Low Power Mode extends the use to up to 36 hours, ensuring the device keeps up with you throughout the day and night.
Reloading has also been improved, allowing the Apple Watch reach 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes on the wireless charger that came in the box.
Processor
O Series 10 comes equipped with the new processor S10 SiP (System in Package), offering even greater performance and energy efficiency. This advancement allows for a more fluid experience when browsing apps and using the watch's various features, in addition to improving battery life.
Here, we have the return of gesture functionality with two touches, which makes interacting with your device even easier. With a simple double-tap of your fingers, you can quickly perform tasks, such as answering calls or controlling applications, without having to swipe the screen.
The new generation of Apple Watch also features the function Precise Search for iPhone, which helps you find your iPhone accurately using technology UWB extension (Ultra Wideband). This feature makes the device's location even more accurate and reliable, especially indoors. There is also the possibility of the iPhone find the clock using this same function.

The new app Vital Signs, announced in June with the Watch 11, tracks important metrics like blood oxygen, body temperature, and respiratory rate, giving you a comprehensive view of your daily health. It also helps you understand your menstrual cycle by estimating past ovulations based on your temperature monitored during sleep.
When the subject is fitness, the Apple Watch Series 10 stands out as an ideal workout partner. It tracks activities like running, Pilates, swimming and dancing, offering accurate metrics to optimize training.
The water temperature sensor and new depth sensor improve performance in water sports such as swimming and snorkeling. The app Activity continues to encourage users to complete the circles Movement, Exercise and Standing.

Other Features
O smart set automatically displays relevant information based on time, location, and other preferences, while live activities allow you to follow real-time events, such as game results or the status of your flight, right on your wrist.
With the new app Translate, the Apple Watch Series 10 becomes a portable translator, offering instant translations and the option to download languages for offline use, perfect for traveling abroad. Plus, the model with cellular connectivity allows you to leave your iPhone at home and still make calls, reply to messages or even access the internet.
The watch also facilitates payments with the Apple Pay and transform the app Wallet into a digital key for your home, car or even a boarding pass.
Apple Watch also functions as a standalone audio player, both for AirPods and through the watch's own speaker. With the App Store on Apple Watch, you have access to thousands of apps that further expand its functionality, making the device highly customizable and versatile.
Apple Watch uses its accelerometer to detect nighttime breathing disorders, recording subtle movements that could indicate sleep apnea. The metric Respiratory Disorders, available in the app Health, classifies these events as high or low, and can be analyzed in graphs over a month, six months or a year.
If the watch detects persistent signs of sleep apnea, it sends a notification that includes the period of occurrence, as well as information and recommendations for seeking medical treatment. The iPhone complements the monitoring by displaying this data visually.
The algorithm that analyzes these disorders is based on machine learning and was trained with validated clinical data. It has been tested in a large-scale study to ensure accuracy in identifying sleep apnea, with promising results. The functionality will be available globally in more than 150 countries, including the US, the European Union and Japan — Brazil may be on that list. This feature is also present in the new model Ultra 2.

Update on Apple Watch Ultra 2
Launched in 2023, the premium model of Apple has been updated with a new black color. With a titanium case of 49 mm, the watch is suitable for more challenging environments and is certified EN13319, an international standard for diving accessories. It features a water resistance of up to 100 meters (WR100) and is dust resistant IP6X, ensuring superior protection in different environments.
The big news is the new color that goes by the name of Black Titanium (also called Satin Black), as well as a new corrosion-resistant Milanese-style bracelet.
