LG's new air conditioning line guarantees up to 70% energy savings

This Monday (26), the LG Brazil held a press event in São Paulo to promote its newest technology. THE LG Dual Inverter Voice UV Nano is the name of the robust LG air conditioning line that promises to meet the specific needs of the consumer and promote greater well-being and quality of life for those who use it.

Under the command of brand leaders, the presentation of the air conditioning points to improvements in performance, connectivity and, above all, energy savings. Furthermore, it was revealed that the line-up of LG will undergo an adaptation in 2023 with the new method of evaluation of the Inmetro. Energy saving

André Pontes, LG's residential air conditioning product manager, started the event with a fact present in the life of every Brazilian: electricity is expensive. In recent times, electricity bills have skyrocketed in their values, forcing consumers to adapt and try to save in different ways. One of the products that consumes the most energy is air conditioning.

With that in mind, LG launches a line that seeks to help users get around this situation. Air conditioning doesn't have to be the villain of the story. In traditional products, there is a compressor responsible for carrying out the temperature control work. When it reaches the chosen temperature, the machine turns off, and returns when it needs to adjust the degrees again. It is in this on and off process that power surges are recorded.

with the models dual inverter from LG, two more agile parts facilitate the process and are independent of frequent shutdown. The result is continuous, efficient and more economical work. According to the company, up to 70% of energy consumption can be saved from the consumer. Cooling is up to 40% faster.

The quality and technology of LG products are recognized by consumers, who maintain the brand in the leadership of the air conditioning market in Brazil with 22,3% of general share, and 41,8% of leadership in the category Inverter.

In addition, during the event it was first-hand announced that the new line allows up to 55% temperature stability in the environment in which the product is installed. LG Dual Inverter Voice UV Nano

As the title points out, this is the official name of the line that integrates the LG catalog. The models were based on the four guidelines pioneered by the company: connectivity, UV Nano, performance and durability.

Using LG ThinQ, users can easily integrate their product with others in the house, in addition to interacting and configuring custom commands with the Alexa e Google Assistant. Wi-Fi is integrated with smart air conditioning.

UV Nano, which tops the line's title, is an exclusive technology for the brand. With Ultraviolet LED lights built into the device, it is possible to sterilize and eliminate up to 99,99% of viruses, bacteria, mold and harmful microparticles. The filter, common in any air conditioner, still comes with the product and needs to be changed. UV Nano is another guarantee that the air emitted from the refrigeration is of good quality.

In general sales, it is very common to find an air conditioner that ranges from 9.000 BTUs to 36.000 BTUs. BTU, in this case, refers to the unit of measurement of the cooling power. Depending on the consumer's need, some models end up being weaker or even exaggerated for the purchase. To get around this, LG has made available two new models, 15.000 BTUs e 30.000 BTUs. The intention is to make the acquisition more flexible and increase the offer. Thus, the performance becomes more accurate with what the user wants.

Still in performance, the dual inverter has the advantage of energy saving. As mentioned before, the LG compressor works more actively and without interruption between temperature variations.

With the sum of all these factors, consequently the final product has a longer shelf life. The company offers a 10-year warranty, but the expectation is that your air conditioner will remain working longer. This is a device that, naturally, already has a long life if well maintained.

Reinforcing LG's pioneering character, company leaders reiterated the vision of quality towards the consumer. It was revealed at the event that the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro) should make changes to your IDRS certification, the one that accompanies all products on the market.

With this, LG is committed to keeping the seal a across your line Inverter. Inmetro will soon categorize from “A” to “F”. The adaptation is being made in the factories now to accommodate the new label that will be mandatory from January 1, 2023. At the event, practical tests of each segment of the new line were presented to the guests. Five air conditioner models were on display, each with different wattages, including a artcool, classic already known by the public.
