Ubisoft offers Assassin's Creed Unity for free on PC

As we reported, Our Lady digital Assassin's Creed Unity will be used as a tool for the reconstruction of the original cathedral. Struck by a fire last Monday (15), the cathedral had its spire and roof destroyed.

Today, Ubisoft published in your official blog, the announcement of the donation of 500.000 Euros (about R$2.216.800,00 at the current price) to help rebuild the cathedral – which took about 150 years to build.

In addition to encouraging fans to also donate to the rebuild, the company is offering the gane Assassin's Creed Unity free for PC, allowing players to explore the cathedral's full beauty in one of its most faithful digital representations.

The game tells the story of Arno dorian, a French nobleman who, after the death of his father in childhood, finds himself in the middle of the conflict between the Assassin Order and the Templar Order. The title takes place in the period of the French Revolution and the developers made a point of capturing all the essence of this historical period, squares taken by thousands of people protesting, guards violently repressing rebels, patriotism and a lot of blood in the streets.

Among the novelties that the title brought to the franchise, the highlight is the parkour, which has been improved and is much more fluid than previous titles. The amount of characters at the same time on the screen is also impressive - especially as it is the first game in the franchise to land on current-gen consoles.
