O Google announced this week that subscribers to Google One, the company's subscription focused on cloud storage, will have access to benefits in the Meet previously available exclusively to the Google workspace, company services package for business. Among the novelties that will now be made available are the video conference recorder and the elimination of the one-hour limit on the duration of calls.
What are the benefits of Google One subscribers?

The benefits for the Google Meet are available on the subscription plan Premium do Google One, which already has advantages such as storage of more than 2TB in the Google Drive.
The first major benefit to the Meet is the fact that video conferences on the platform, for subscribers of the premium plan of Google One, can last up to 24 hours – just like it is on workspace, big tech's corporate solution. Other tools, such as noise filters and call recording, are also among the new features. Check out the full list below:
- Elimination of noise in calls from the Meet;
- Recording of videoconferences;
- 24-hour limits on calls from the Meet;
- Exclusive filters for subscribers on Google Photos;
- 2TB of storage;
- Space sharing with up to 5 people;
- Access to Google experts.
Google One plans

We emphasize, once again, that the benefits of Meet are only available on the plan Premium do Google One, which costs R$ 34,90 per month. The lower subscription plans of big tech have benefits such as extra filters in the Google Photos, but will not allow 24-hour conferences.
Below is a list of each plan, its storage expansion, and its benefits:
- 15 GB: free;
- 100 GB: R$6,99 per month or R$69,99 per year;
- 200 GB: R$9,99 per month or R$99,99 per year;
- 2 TB: R$34,99 per month or R$349,99 per year;
- 10 TB: BRL 349,99 per month;
- 20 TB: BRL 699,99 per month;
- 30 TB: BRL 1.049,99 per month.
From the 2TB plan, the benefits of Meet join storage, photo filters, space sharing with up to five people, and direct access to experts from the Google to resolve doubts. In addition, plans from 10TB onwards can only be subscribed to by those who already have a subscription to the program, not being available for those who use the 15GB version and want to upgrade.
