ASUS announces Swift PG27UQ 144Hz gaming monitor with 4K and HDR technologies

It is the first resolution monitor UHD 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate. This means that it will be able to reproduce high resolution images at 144 frames per second, ideal for FPS games. The high refresh rate provides smooth, lag-free gameplay and anticipates the player's view, giving a certain advantage in gameplay.

Despite the incredible possibility, the difficult thing will be to find hardware powerful enough to deliver 4K at 144Hz, considering that today the best that can be achieved is 4K at 60 FPS with a lot of suffering on the part of the video cards, but looking to the future is always the best option. I bet that in up to 2 years we will have intermediate boards capable of this feat.

But don't be fooled into thinking that the Swift PG27UQ is a waste of time (and money). This monitor is ahead of its time and with 27 inches, a panel IPS e HDR, not only games, but movies and series will have more image quality and worthy definition.
