ASUS launches notebook with 17-inch OLED foldable screen

A ASUS presented today (31) at its virtual event at IFA 2022 o Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, the world's first foldable OLED display notebook. It measures 17,3″ and will be available from the fourth quarter of 2022 with prices starting at US$3.499.
Zenbook 17 Fold OLED Highlights
During the event that takes place in Berlin, Germany, the manufacturer gave details of the notebook to the press. There, she revealed the inspiration and story behind the design of the new model, as well as, of course, its values.
The first thing that catches our attention in its details is that it is very versatile. The 17″ OLED screen is touch sensitive and folds in half. When it happens, we win two 3-inch 2:12,5 monitors with a resolution of 1920 x 1280. This gives the new Zenbook unique versatility. It can still be combined with the keyboard and touchpad ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth, increasing the possibilities.
These possibilities mean that it can be used as a desktop, notebook with virtual or physical keyboard (bluetooth), reader ou tablets. All of this is made possible not only by the folding screen, but also by having a hardware of respect.
The partnership ASUS e Intel ensure that the foldable notebook is an innovation in everything. Good performance is guaranteed by 7th Gen Intel Core™ i12 U-Series processors, Intel Iris® Xe graphics, Intel WiFi 6E, up to 16GB of RAM and a fast 4.0TB PCIe® 1 SSD.
In addition, it has two doors. Thunderbolt 4 With 75Wh battery fast charging support. These ports also allow you to connect external peripherals and monitors.
When it will be available?
If you live or are walking in Berlin, IFA 2022 will be taking place from the 2nd to the 6th of September. The manufacturer confirmed that the new Zenbook will be available for testing there, in addition to other products, and best of all, open to the public at their stands.
The exact release date has not yet been announced, but it was certain to be released sometime in the fourth half of this year (2022).
