Waze update will bring major visual overhaul

If there is one app that has won the hearts and minds of users, this is it. Waze. The popularization of the GPS navigation on the smartphone has changed the way common and professional drivers get around cities. always keeping an eye on feedback of users, the Waze prepares an update that could bring features like what would alert drivers to routes that pass through hazardous areas (still under study).

What is already in place for the next update is a major visual overhaul. O Waze announced today in its Facebook page a video with some of these changes, which the app will soon receive. Although the images show a device from another brand, the final sentence of the video states that the changes will be for the iPhone (we do not know whether initially or definitively).

The post on social media does not say when the update will be available on App Store, despite the Waze promise that the news will arrive “soon”. So far it is not known whether the new visual interface will come to other platforms such as Android e Windows Phone.
