The lucky ones who are already using devices with Android Marshmallow are already beginning to enjoy small advantages of the new operating system. An example of this is the Google translator, which has just received a very interesting update. Now, the platform app will be able to translate the internal content of the apps.
This means that menus, commands, messages and other content will be automatically translated into the preferred language, just select the text and wait for a pop-up window to display the translation. In this way, the user would be free from the laborious task of copying and pasting the text he would like to see translated.
The new feature may not work in applications where the developer has implemented some type of customization in the behavior of the text. Even so, Google intends to unify its apps and will send these developers instructions on how the new code can be added to their settings.
Updating the Google translator it's already available on the Play Store. Unfortunately, only users with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be able to enjoy the new features of the application. So far it is not known whether the new tool will be available for other versions of Android, nor when this will happen.
