LG explains benefits of InstaView ThinQ refrigerators

A LG invited journalists to an event in São Paulo, just to talk about the new refrigerators InstaView ThinQ. The models were launched during the JACKET 2022, which the company participates as a technology partner for the fifth consecutive year.

Aimed at those who are open to investing in a product with a more premium tone, the model was launched with three variants, which cost up to R$15.999. Check out all the information right now and how the company justifies the high price.

Premium market focus

For the price informed at the beginning of this text, you surely already know that the model is aimed at those who want to have a completely connected refrigerator and do not mind spending on it, right? During the event held to learn more about refrigerators InstaView ThinQ, LG confirms that the development was carried out with everything that was available so that even if it had a high price, the models still delivered a series of benefits.

What do InstaView ThinQ refrigerators so much deliver?

Sold in Brazil at three different prices, these models arrive to “change the way Brazilians see their refrigerators and freezers”, says one of the spokespersons present at the event. Get to know each of the technologies right now.

Fresh Hygiene

As the name suggests, this is the solution for LG focused on absorbing odors from food to generate greater conservation and keep food away from bacteria. In practice, there is the elimination of 99,999% of bacteria in the internal air of the refrigerator.

A LG explained that cleaning also takes place in the water filter. This part of the refrigerator has a UV light that is not noticeable to the naked eye, but the company guarantees that every hour of the day, for ten minutes, an activation is done to eliminate most of the bacteria that are in the filter. It is the certainty that the owners will have access to water away from impurities that will cause health problems.

DoorCooling+

Aimed at keeping food always fresh, this technology releases the wind from the fridge in a different way. Putting this into practice, artificial intelligence is able to control the temperature so that the food remains more preserved. According to the company itself, everything inside the refrigerator will be chilled by about 0,5 °C.

The opening of the door, which most causes the temperature of the refrigerator to drop, was not forgotten. Food stored in the door will receive a blast of icy wind as soon as the refrigerator is closed so that the ideal temperature is not lost.

DoorInDoor

This is one of the coolest features of InstaView ThinQ refrigerators. To prevent the refrigerator from opening completely, the LG allows some food to be inserted into a door that does not require the fridge to be fully opened. According to the manufacturer, this feature brings savings of 41% compared to models without it.

A LG implemented this precisely to generate energy savings, since simply opening the door completely requires that the motor needs to be activated for the ideal temperature to return. And the coolest thing: if you want to see what's inside the fridge, just tap the door twice so that the interior light comes on without having to open the door. 

Craft Ice Maker

Who doesn't love drinks that are always fresh? The “other half” of InstaView ThinQ, which is a freezer, can manufacture ice in the form of spheres that melt slowly without leaving that drink taste that loses its taste due to ice. Check out examples:

If it is on the market, it is also possible to activate ice production through the app ThinQ, also developed by LG. Daily, the refrigerators manage to manufacture three spheres of ice so that your nights rest always have fresh drinks.

Connectivity

It is clear that LG would not fail to deliver a connected experience in a premium category model. In addition to sending alerts about the open door and avoiding high energy consumption, the ThinQ (available to Android e iOS) can be used to activate ice making and know about the water filter.

Another feature is that owners can activate a vacation mode so that energy is minimally spent on days and/or months when no one is at home. This model does not have a smart screen, but the connectivity features manage to give that special upgrade to the experience.

Ten-year compressor warranty

Finalizing the details, the LG ensures that any problem in the refrigerators InstaView ThinQ will be fixed free of charge. The compressor inserted in these models is called Linear Invert and the company pointed out at the special event that it is extremely quiet, even at night.

The models also have special humidity drawers that guarantee the ideal temperature of food, at a different temperature than what is in the freezer or refrigerator. This part of the refrigerator was named after utility box and you can see it below:
