Bluesky: new social network from the creator of Twitter opens registration for testing

Jack Dorsey, creator of Twitter and one of those responsible for what the social network is today, left the position of CEO of the social network in November 2021 and took with him one of his most ambitious projects. THE Bluesky is a new site that can be explained as a true public square, since it will have its own protocol and will not be focused on displaying personalized ads.

New social network concept

Presented as a concept to the world in 2019, the new social network was defined as a “social media system that would be decentralized”.

It is possible to perceive that Jack Dorsey wants to correct the mistakes he supposedly made in the administration of Twitter in a new website, allowing people to have a public square to discuss the most diverse issues of society.

When Elon Musk started the purchase process Twitter, Dorsey came to the public citing that “he regrets being one of the promoters of identity discovery in corporations and that this damaged the internet”. He also approved the purchase of the social network by the richest man in the world and that he even mentioned that Musk could do a great administration.

It is important to remember that the new social network will have the AT Protocol (Authenticated Transfer Protocol) as a basis to function, created just for the Bluesky.
