In the last 2 years, the number of commercial flights has practically tripled in most countries. And this, not only due to the decrease in the cost of tickets, but also to the popularization of transport in emerging countries. But what hasn't changed much is the passenger experience inside the aircraft, even with all the technological advances we've seen in the entertainment area. Just last year, for example, the Gol started making WiFi connections available to its passengers (read here).
But, in view of this opportunity, the Boeing launched this week the pode ser a next generation aircraft interiors. Understand what may change in the near future:
golden age
In the past, traveling by plane was not just “a part of the journey”, but a “large part of the journey”, constituting an important part of the experience of being traveling. We refer, of course, to the so-called “golden age” of commercial aviation, which can be seen in series such as mad man e Pan Am. At that time, in addition to the status that air travel brought with it, the crew member was considered a king.

in the near future
To bring back some of that era, the Boeing promises to bring about a major change in the experience of first-class passengers. Among the novelties, we will have more modern entertainment systems, seats that join or separate according to the users' wishes and computer-controlled lighting, aiming to provide a more peaceful sleep for passengers.
The aircraft roof can even project images, such as a calm sky or the stars shown in the image above. And new, large curved screens will be part of the scene, presenting flight information and entertainment at the same time.
In addition, more modern seats with LED systems will give a futuristic atmosphere to the new aircraft. The set is part of an environment control system that aims to make passengers more calm and rested.
The aircraft areas will be separated by illuminated doors, which rise from the ground, to divide the passenger regions. The idea is to divide environments, between economy, business and first class, in a more modern and practical way, both for passengers and crew.
The aircraft shown in the demonstration of the Boeing It even has an ultramodern bar, mounted with interactive panels. These and other details are demonstrated in the video below:
The ideas even somewhat resemble the concepts presented by another company in October of last year, Spike aerospace, but are very promising. THE Boeing, largest aircraft seller in the world, confirms that these concepts are being applied by its commercial aircraft division, and should arrive in the near future. In due course, the company combines the launch of this concept at a time when most companies are already thinking about changing their fleet.
