Based on these criteria, a composite score was assigned that reflects the overall pattern of Internet usage in each country.
Brazil ranks first in the global ranking, being the country where people spend the most time per week in streaming of TV shows, social networks and e-learning. In addition, residents spend, on average, 5 hours and 27 minutes per week on video calls, the longest time recorded among all nations analyzed.
Hong Kong residents also stand out in the amount of time spent on administrative tasks, such as online banking, totaling 4 hours and 41 minutes weekly, the longest time in this category.
