Meet BroadwayHD, the Netflix of theater plays

Just as movie and series lovers have the Netflix to watch for streaming their favorite titles, theater lovers can now celebrate, as the Broadway HD is a service streaming on demand to show plays.

“If you can't go to Broadway, go to BroadwayHD”, this is the slogan of the service that has as its mission to preserve the tradition of live theater and take it to as many people as possible and was created by Broadway producers Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley.

O Broadway HD it's very simple to use. Just log in to the platform, being able to choose between your Facebook or Google+ account, or even register by entering your username, password and email. Then you must choose between the monthly subscription packages, which costs $14.99 dollars, or the annual, which is $169.99 dollars.

The subscription entitles you to watch all the plays available on the service during the contracted time and access can be made on your PC or on your TV through an Apple TV or Google Chromecast. There is still no app for iOS, Android or Windows Phone, but access can be done through your smartphone's browser.

The service's premise is to bring the famous Broadway theater to all people who do not have access or want to see famous shows, such as Romeo and Juliet, which is currently being played by Orlando Bloom, the eternal Legolas from Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Rashad Concola.
