CBF exhibits Arena Seleção, the 1st metaverse of Brazilian football

In partnership with Garena, CBF launched a football metaverse in celebration of the Qatar World Cup which takes place from November 2022. Players need to download the Garena Blockman GO and access the lobby, where right after being transported to the Selection Arena, it will be possible to play soccer matches and earn customization items for the characters.

The first metaverse of Brazilian football

Official sponsor of the Brazilian National Team, the Garena teamed up with CBF to launch a digital initiative that allows fans to get closer to our team that can bring the long-awaited sixth championship.

“The main objective of the initiative is to bring young fans closer to the world of the Brazilian team, through digital activations and actions. The gaming market is one of the focuses of CBF and we are going to invest in this segment, which will help us in the formation of new fans.

All people who have the application of the Garena Blockman Go, which works as a large 8-bit minigame hub, can access the Arena Selection and play online matches against up to 4 players. Users will be divided into pairs and the first to score five goals wins the match.

Interactivity is featured

Those who access the Brazilian football metaverse will also be able to access a super digital museum that has information about all the titles of the Brazilian National Team, with videos, images and information about the moments that led to the achievements of the five-time champion team.

A changing room area for warming up is also available for players and on site, it will be possible to use the skin of the canary, the great mascot of the 2018 World Cup that went viral on the internet. See this example:

Players can share the photo on social networks and this is the first initiative of the CBF with the Garena, which should bring more news until the end of the year, when our team will try to bring the title once again. O Garena Blockman Go is available for free for Android e iOS and developers can also create minigames for the platform through the Garena Blockman Editor.
