CES 2016: Samsung introduces new ChromeBook Series 3

After introducing the new Galaxy TabPro S on Windows 10 and  Notebook 9 Series, series premium of 13-inch and 15-inch laptops, the Samsung also revealed news for the line of Chromebooks.

called 3 Chromebook, it comes with a reinforced metal frame, is resistant to keyboard splashes and has a longer battery life (up to 11 hours of battery life).

Gary Riding, Senior Vice President of Mobile Computing at Samsung said during the announcement: “We are seeing more and more people switching to Chromebooks such as families, students and consumers looking for an easy-to-use, highly portable device at an affordable price.”

O 3 Chromebook comes with processor Intel Celeron N3050, 16 GB of space for internal storage (since this type of computer depends on an internet connection and user data is stored in cloud services) and 4GB de RAM memory. The model still comes with a screen with HD resolution (1366 x 768 pixels) from 11.6 inches. The connections and inputs available to it are WiFi gigabit standard, Bluetooth 4.0 and a door USB 3.0.

One of the biggest attractions of chromebook is definitely the battery. THE Samsung promises 11 hours for use without the need for charging. Another advantage is the weight: only 1.15 kg, ideal for students who need to have notebooks to follow classes.

The price has not still been published. THE Samsung launches this model to compete with the Chromebooks da Dell, Acer e Asus. The launch comes at a time when most schools are looking to buy equipment for their laboratories and some are even studying partnerships to supply computers to their students.
