The third generation of TV QD OLED da Samsung, known as S95D, presents an innovation in relation to previous versions: its anti-glare screen. It is designed to eliminate virtually any noticeable reflection. This feature aims to avoid annoying distractions when watching TV on sunny days, for example, providing a more immersive and pleasant experience when enjoying the content. The news was announced in CES 2024 and we brought you more information straight from the event. Check out!
Samsung anti-glare screen

Although the coatings anti-glare are not new to high-end TVs, with Samsung, LG and Sony already standing out in this aspect, Samsung seems to have advanced even further with the special treatment applied to the panel in this version. The company ensures that there are no negative impacts on the viewing angle or color distortion as a result of this innovation.
OLED-optimized low-glare technology utilizes a new layer of specialized hard coating and a surface coating pattern, offering more visual details without the hassle of glare, as communicated by Samsung in CES 2024. The company highlights that this is the brightest OLED screen produced by Samsung to date. As in the previous year, the model S95D is available in sizes that reach up to 77 inches. It even supports refresh rates of up to 144 Hz and features AI-enhanced color accuracy validated by Pantone.
During the Samsung event at CES 2024, the company carried out a challenging test, positioning a window that transmitted a simulation of sunlight next to the TV, demonstrating the effectiveness of the coating. In addition to the innovation of the anti-glare screen, the known benefits of OLED technology with quantum dots are present, providing richer, more vibrant colors with higher brightness levels — 20% more brightness than the previous model — compared to traditional panels. Previous models like the S95C have received very good reviews, and there's not much reason to expect anything different with this year's model, especially considering its visibility in virtually any viewing environment.
The 4K line gets a new processor, allowing more artificial intelligence features to work on the TVs at the same time. In the new generation of OLEDs, the new processor, combined with the Display, will make the TV have higher levels of brightness. And the most premium model, the Samsung OLED S95, will be “glare-free”, that is, an anti-glare screen.

11mm thick

With less then 11 mm thick, smart TV QD-OLED S95D from Samsung is accompanied by One Connect box company — a kind of cable organizer. The device allows you to connect your streaming devices and game consoles, consolidating all connections to the TV through a single cable.
Like Samsung's other 2024 TVs, the S95D operates with the latest version of the software Tizen from the company. This system allows each member of the house to use their own Samsung account to receive personalized content recommendations. Samsung also continues to promote its service Samsung TV Plus FAST, which offers a unified interface for viewing hundreds of free channels.
New “OLED Glare Free” technology — designed specifically for 2024 OLED displays — preserves color accuracy and reduces reflections while maintaining image clarity to ensure an immersive viewing experience, even in daylight. The OLED-optimized low-reflective coating overcomes the balance between glare and reflection thanks to a new specialized hard coating layer and surface coating pattern.
