CES 2025: HP Showcases the Future of Work with Notebooks, Desktops and All-In-Ones Featuring HP AI Companion

During CES 2025, the world's largest technological innovation fair, HP took the opportunity to present several new features, revealing a little about how the future of work can become even more interesting through the use of AI in its notebooks, desktops and All-In-Ones. HP AI Companion
O HP AI Companion is HP Personal Assistant which is already installed on the brand's notebooks. It complements the system's resources to offer a more personalized and complete experience through four main features:
- To ask: Allows you to ask anything and explore new things. For example, you can ask to find relevant information on a topic, summarize a long article, or create a paper, blog, or article. The function presents a feed of news briefings on AI topics.
- Analyze: Search and summarize files stored on your private drive. In other words, with this feature, you can use AI to explore and interact with your personal files, allowing you to compare documents, summarize them, and even highlight key points.
- Discover: A section dedicated to learning and engaging with content and topics related to artificial intelligence.
- Perform: Using Artificial Intelligence, HP AI Companion can search and analyze the best drivers for your HP Copilot+ machine. This tab also serves as a troubleshooting area for your PC, making it very useful.
At first, these are the highlights of the app, which should receive more features over time. The HP AI Companion works with the OpenAI GPT-4o.
HP EliteBook Ultra G1i
O HP EliteBook Ultra G1i was presented in CES 2025 as an impressive combination of elegant design and robust performance. It meets the updated standards of the program Copilot+ PC from Microsoft, bringing a special key to activate Artificial Intelligence Copilot.
The model's appearance impresses with its blue tone and use of 90% recycled magnesium on the outside, weighing around 1,2 kg and with a thickness of just 9,10 mm, proving to be light and practical for everyday use. The backlit keyboard is complete, including all the necessary keys, while the side ports include two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C on the right side and a 3,5 mm headphone input of the P2 type on the left side.
With a 14-inch screen and 3K resolution (2880 x 1800), the notebook will be available in versions with and without a touchscreen. The OLED panel offers 400 nits of brightness and 100% DCI-P3 certification, providing vivid colors that are ideal for work such as design.
Designed for work and running Windows 11 out of the box, the EliteBook Ultra G1i will come with the latest generation Intel Core Ultra processors, optimized for intermediate activities and with clock speeds of up to 5,0 GHz. In addition, the processors include a dedicated NPU, making the device ideal for activities related to artificial intelligence. Intel's integrated graphics card has also been updated to offer good performance, but without consuming too much power.
With 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, this notebook promises to guarantee high speed in various tasks. In terms of storage, it offers up to 512GB, with the possibility of expansion up to 2TB using PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 technology. Thanks to its processor, the model is already prepared for Wi-Fi 7, allowing connection to the new standard as soon as it becomes popular. In addition, it also has a Bluetooth 5.4 antenna for greater range and stability when connecting wireless devices.

HP EliteBook X G1i
The next notebook on the list is the HP EliteBook X G1i. Aimed at business use, it features a similar design to the previous model, but with simpler specifications, such as the absence of an OLED panel and lower resolutions.
Despite this, its screen offers interesting options, including versions with or without touch sensitivity, as well as resolutions ranging from FHD to 2,5K, with refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The variants include models with different brightness levels, such as 400, 500 and 800 nits, as well as features that vary between sRGB and DCI-P3 100% standards.
The sustainability philosophy is also present in this model, which uses recycled materials and will be available in blue (Atmospheric Blue) and silver (Glacier Silver). Its dimensions are slightly larger than those of the Ultra, maintaining a weight that varies according to the chosen configuration.
The backlit keyboard and touchpad with gesture support ensure practicality, while connections include two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, one USB Type-C, a 3,5mm headphone jack, one HDMI 2.1, one USB-A and, on selected models, a port for the nano SIM, a differential for those who need mobile connectivity on their devices.
Equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 series 2 processors, which can be overclocked up to 5,0 GHz, the notebook uses the Intel Arc GPU, which works in sync with the processor. It can be purchased with Windows 11 Home ou Windows 11 Pro and will feature software such as HP AI Companion to improve user experience with AI.
The storage settings of the HP EliteBook X G1i offer 256GB or 512GB, with the possibility of expansion up to 2TB using the PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD. RAM will be available in 16GB or 32GB versions with LPDDRX technology, ensuring high performance for various tasks. The model also stands out for its connectivity, with support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

HP EliteBook X Flip G1i
O HP EliteBook X Flip G1i is a foldable version of EliteBook X conventional, bringing as a differential the possibility of being used as a notebook or tablet. Because of this feature, all its versions will include a touch screen. Apart from this change, it maintains the settings of the EliteBook X traditional, with LCD screen options that offer brightness of up to 800 nits, as well as a version with a 120Hz refresh rate, but without OLED technology.
Available in blue and silver, it should be super versatile thanks to its folding function and compatibility with stylus pens, although it doesn't include one in the kit. The backlit keyboard and touchpad with gesture support remain, as do the dimensions of the traditional model.
The laptop starts at 1,39 kg, slightly heavier due to the folding mechanism. Ports include two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 standard, one USB Type-C, a 3,5 mm headphone jack, one HDMI 2.1, one USB-A, and a nano SIM port (allowing access to the 5G mobile network) on select models.
As far as processing is concerned, the EliteBook X Flip shares the same hardware set as EliteBook X, with Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors from the 200 series, with integrated Intel Arc graphics and NPU. The available RAM memory includes 16GB or 32GB versions with LPDDR5x technology. As for storage, the model offers options of 256GB or 512GB, with the possibility of expansion up to 2TB using the PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD.
Regarding the connectivity of the HP EliteBook X Flip G1i, it remains in line with the other models, with support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Additionally, the new HP notebook model will offer the operating system options Windows 11 Home ou Windows 11 Pro.

HP ZBook Ultra G1a 14 Mobile Workstation
O HP ZBook Ultra G1a 14 Mobile Workstation is a robust notebook, designed for intensive use in artificial intelligence and that maintains portability through a refined design. Part of the line Z da HP — focused on high performance in Artificial Intelligence —, it combines power and elegance.
Available in two 14-inch screen variations, the basic version will feature WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and 100% sRGB certification, while the most advanced option will offer 2,8K resolution (2880 x 1800), OLED panel, touch sensitivity, 120Hz refresh rate and 3% DCI-P100 certification.
Measuring just 1,85 cm thick, the design of this device focuses on lightness and practicality, offering a backlit keyboard and a touchpad with gesture support. Available exclusively in Meteor Silver, it will include a webcam positioned at the top of the screen, although without a physical piece to increase privacy. The ports here include two USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, one USB Type-C, a 3,5 mm headphone jack, one HDMI 2.1 and one USB-A.
Equipped with AMD Ryzen AI MAX PRO processors, the notebook will offer options ranging from the 380, 385, 390 and 395 models, with differences in clock, cores and threads. For graphics, the HP ZBook Ultra Mobile Workstation will use integrated AMD Radeon 8040s, 8050s or 8060s series GPUs, depending on the processor chosen.
Available operating systems include Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 Pro Education, Windows 11 Home and Linux versions such as FreeDOS, Ubuntu 24.04 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. The highlight is the AMD Ryzen AI NPU, which delivers 50 TOPS, ideal for artificial intelligence applications.
With up to 512GB of storage, expandable to 4TB on PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD, the HP ZBook Ultra Mobile Workstation It also offers up to 128GB of LPDDRX RAM, providing exceptional performance for complex but non-gaming workflows.
Its MediaTek MT7925 board will support Wi-Fi 7 when it becomes widely available, complemented by modern and efficient connectivity options for demanding work environments.

O HP OmniStudio X is an All-In-One designed to offer practicality and high performance, with a focus on artificial intelligence. Available in two screen sizes, 27″ and 31″, its options will include Full HD (1920 x 1080) and 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolutions, with touch-sensitive models and 93% screen utilization. Certifications will vary between DCI-P3 95% and sRGB 99%, depending on the size chosen.
Built with recycled metal, the design is sleek and functional, with an adjustable arm and accessories that match the sustainable look, such as a keyboard and mouse. A built-in, retractable 5MP webcam with infrared and noise cancellation ensures privacy and quality in video conferences.
Equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 (Series 2) processors and integrated Intel Arc graphics, the model will be sold with Windows 11 Home ou Pro and will offer up to 32GB of LPDDRX RAM and up to 4TB of PCIe Gen2 NVMe SSD storage, both with no expansion option.
With Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth and multiple ports (USB, HDMI and Ethernet), the OmniStudio X It is ideal for those looking for performance and efficiency in a single compact and elegant device. In more advanced models, it will be in version 5.4, while in others, in version 5.3.

HP Z2 Mini
O HP Z2 Mini is an Workstation AI-focused, super small and perfect for those looking for high performance at work without needing a setup that takes up a lot of space. It follows the same idea as the notebook HP ZBook Ultra that we saw previously, with the difference that it can be even more powerful.
Here, you will need to buy the accessories separately, but it will come equipped with a AMD Ryzen AI MAX PRO to have maximum performance. You will be able to choose between models equipped with up to Ryzen AI MAX+ Pro 395, however, in terms of aesthetics, Jet Black will be the only option.
The RAM memory of the HP Z2 Mini is the same as the notebook already mentioned, and can reach up to 128GB with LPDDR5X technology, allowing up to 96GB to be exclusive to the GPU. In the case of storage, it will have options of up to 8TB with a dual SSD module. The Operating System available for choice for this model will be Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 Home ou Ubuntu.

HP OmniDesk
This desktop HP OmniDesk AI PC aims to be a compact and powerful computer. Expected to be sold in three variants, it may or may not have a dedicated GPU, in addition to having a version completely focused on AI.
The HP OmniDesk AI PC will bring the Intel CoreUltra 5 ou 7 from line 200 and a video card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, with 8GB of GDDR6 memory for graphics tasks. In terms of memory, there will be options of up to 32GB in the DDR5 standard in dual-channel and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
For the simplest models, such as the HP OmniDesk Slim, the processor options will be the Intel Core i7 e i5 13th and 14th generation, but which do not have a dedicated video card.
In terms of connectivity, this desktop will also feature Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 on the more robust models. On the body of these machines, you can connect a variety of things, thanks to the many USB-A connections, USB-C port, 3,5mm headphone jack and even an RJ-45 LAN port.
