CES 2025: Lenovo shows Yoga Tab Plus and Idea Tab Pro, tablets with AI

The second day of CES 2025 still has a lot of news to tell and Lenovo is one of the companies that is most updating its portfolio in several categories. In the study tablet market, we had the debut of Yoga Tab Plus and Idea Tab Pro. Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus

Defined as the “first AI tablet from Lenovo", Or Yoga Tab Plus comes to the market with a 12,7-inch LCD screen with an anti-reflective layer and 144Hz refresh rate, in addition to peak brightness of 900 nits. The model has speakers developed by Harman Kardon, with 4 woofers and 2 tweeters.

Its main highlight is the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen3, the same present in Galaxy S24 line and also in the Lenovo Legion Tab, also launched by the company in ESC 2025. A Lenovo confirms that the Yoga Tab Plus has AI capabilities, but all of this is cloud-based. They are:

• AI Notes: can translate drafts and complete documents into other languages, simply by choosing the language on the translation screen;
• AI Transcript: can transcribe audio to text in real time and, if you also want to translate the transcription into another language, everything can be done in just a few clicks.

The new tablet Lenovo has support for artificial intelligence AI Lenovo Now, which can compare documents saved in internal storage, ensuring data privacy and security.

The battery of the Yoga Tab Plus It is also robust: it has a capacity of 10.200 mAh and support for 45W fast charging, with a power source with this capacity already included in the box. In addition, the company also sends a pen for everyday use, however, the advertised keyboard must be purchased separately.

Finally, the tablet has two lenses located on the back: one 13 MP main and another lens of 2 SM macro type for capturing depth. The lens for selfies and video calls has 8 MP.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro

Another tablet that was given a free look during the releases of Lenovo at CES 2025 is Idea Tab Pro, also aimed at studies. With two colors and support for Tab Pen Plus, buyers of this model also get a 2-in-1 keyboard, as well as a charger.

It is worth noting that the Quad speakers manufactured from JBL this tablet supports the standard Dolby Atmos to deliver high sound immersion in series, films and music.

Now the screen of the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro hits the market with 12,7 inches LCD type with an anti-reflective layer, in addition to 144Hz refresh rate, 3K resolution, and 400 nits peak brightness. Lenovo highlights that reflections will be reduced by up to 95% in Matte Edition.

the use of Lenovo Idea Tab Pro can be further customized with cases to fit any style, including a clear case with a stand, a folio case for enhanced protection, and a Play Suite case for younger kids to use at home.

The processor chosen for this model was the Mediatek Dimension 8300, which, despite being from last year, is still considered high-performance. The model also has up to 8 GB of RAM and an additional 256 GB of internal storage.

The company emphasizes that the tablet has support for the personal assistant Google Gemini, which has been improved month after month and only requires an internet connection to support various activities.

Its battery has a capacity of 10.200 mAh, which will be enough for you to play, study, watch your favorite series and still have some energy at the end of the day. The charger included in the box supports fast battery charging and has 45W.

As for the camera Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, the one located at the back takes pictures in 13 SM, while the front camera takes pictures in 8 SM. The model runs Android 14 from day one and should receive new operating system updates when they are available.
