With internet to spare, Japan puts free Wi-Fi on Mount Fuji

With plenty of internet to give and sell, Japan has placed 8 free Wi-Fi hotspots on Mount Fuji for tourists to take selfies on the summit of one of the biggest tourist spots in the land of the rising sun.

Japan is an amazing country, in fact, the ability to innovate and create new technologies is in Japanese blood. Big technology companies like Nintendo, Canon, Nikon, Sony among others were born there. And if there's something enviable in Japan, it's the speed of the internet, which reaches 1Gbps, Which is equivalent to 1024 MB per second in some homes. To get an idea, the average from Internet Brazilian is de 10 MB per second, an internet 100 times slower.

With plenty of internet and after a series of requests from tourists, the Mount Fuji It will be one of the first free Wi-Fi mountain in the world. the telecommunications company NTT Docomo Inc., in partnership with the municipalities of Yamanashi e Shizuoka installed 8 wireless network access points on the mountain, including 3 support houses around the summit.

Unfortunately for slower climbers, Wi-Fi may not be pleasant, as passwords that entitle you to 72 hours of access will be distributed in order not to become a mess. With this novelty, the city halls of the two cities intend to attract more foreign climbers and tourists, since the free publicity of the place will increase considerably, through photos taken by tourists on the spot. It is estimated that last year about  40.000 to 50.000 tourists passed through there.

Now just take a plane to Japan and hope to find the Ultraman, jaspion ou Godzilla there to take a selfie, remembering that the latter is very dangerous.
