How to put a photo album on your iPhone lock screen

A update 17.1 of iOS brought with it numerous benefits and new features for iPhone users, including customization of the lock screen that allows you to add a photo album. As part of the update, you can now select your favorite photos and make them visible on the lock screen at random. To view photos, users will be able to select how often to change images by touching the screen, locking the iPhone, change hourly or even daily.

Titled “Random Photos“, the new feature allows you to select 2 or more photos manually or choose to select categories that identify pets, nature or landscapes visited, trips and people identified by the iPhone through facial expressions. Creating the photo album on the lock screen

Step 1: Access the “Settings” from the iPhone.

Step 2: Look for the option “General” and then go to “Software update“. To make searching for the update easier, you can select the quick search tab and type “update".

It is important to emphasize that iOS 17.1 update will only be available in iPhone XR lines onwards, making it impossible to use the resource for users of the previous lines.

Step 3: After updating your iPhone to iOS 17.1, lock the phone screen and hold it with your finger until the “+” in the lower right corner.

Step 4: Select the option “Random Photos".

Step 5: Insert photos manually or choose pre-defined settings on the iPhone. When selecting images, you can choose how often to change the images displayed on the lock screen.

Step 6: When selecting the options “Featured Photos"and "Photos Manually“, you can make changes and apply effects to the image by sliding your finger to the left on the screen.
