For all those who want to follow the results of the election, whether in the first or second rounds, we have good news: online, via app Results ou TSE website, you can check the updated numbers. Below we will show you how to download and see the result of the elections 2022.
From the TSE website
The first way to find out who won the Brazilian elections is through the TSE official website. This site works exactly like the Results application, with the TSE responsible for its creation, displaying the numbers of candidates voted in real time. As soon as you access the site, you are automatically taken to the president's screen, where the photo of the candidate, the caption of his party, the voting number, his name, the percentage of votes and the amount of votes it received.
In this first screen, only eight candidates appear per window, so when clicking on the “View Full List“, it is possible to see all the candidates, as well as a panel on the side that displays the number of votes already counted, whether valid, annulled, null, blank and others. On the top bar there is still the button “Update“, so you don't miss the vote update at any time. On the top tab there is an option, “Totalization“, which displays information similar to this page.
Through the Results app
And in the app created specifically to check the vote count, the simplicity remains the same — with the addition of the ease of being able to check anywhere on your smartphone or tablet. Here's how to check votes using the Results app.
NOTE: : This tutorial was done with an iOS smartphone (iPhone), but the Results works for Android as well, possibly no major changes in guidelines. Choose one of the options below to download the application on your smartphone and follow the instructions:
- First go to your app store, search for the “Results” app and download it. Once you open it, read the screen where it talks about its functions, click Next, see another instruction and click Got it;
- As the application will work to also find out about the candidacy of local deputies, we suggest that you allow access to your location — even if only while the app is in use;
- And, just like on the site, the main screen already leads to the counting of votes for president;
- Exploring a little further, at the top there is an arrow next to “Brazil“. By selecting this option, it is possible to filter the vote count by state Brazilian;

- Still on the screen filtered by state, when going down a little, after the presidential candidates, the candidates for governor of the selected state;
- Going down a little further, you can see the candidates for senator. At the bottom of the page, under “Other positions“, appear those of federal and district deputy — who run in the selected state.
More about the Results app
Ready! Now you know how to check the vote count simultaneously with the TSE. But the Results app — as well as the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) — have more functions than just checking the vote count. Here's more information he can offer:
- In the bottom bar, under “Totalization“, it is possible to check the number of votes for each eligible position, whether at national or state level;
- When you see a candidate icon, you can click on it and then select “Favorite“. Also in this lower bar, under Favorites, you can only see how your favorite candidates are performing;
- And, finally, in “Informations” there is the option “Data from Urn”, which displays the result by polling station; “Terms of Use” and “Frequently Asked Questions”, the latter two aimed at possible questions that voters may have.

Another addendum is that in top right corner of the app it also displays which shift those results refer to, something that does not happen on the TSE website, for example.
And you, what did you think of the TSE's initiative to make the 2022 Elections even clearer? Tell us in the comments!
