Figurine fans at WhatsApp has a new reason to smile: the messenger now allows users to create their own stickers using the web version from the computer, without the need to use third-party applications for this. The editor, which allows you to create WhatsApp stickers on PC, is now available for the Web WhatsApp and will be released to WhatsApp desktop next week. However, there are still no forecasts for the tool's launch on smartphones.

Until then, there were no official ways to create stickers in WhatsApp. Anyone who wanted to create WhatsApp stickers needed to use third-party applications to assemble and incorporate the stickers into the service. The new editor makes this whole process easier. It still offers basic editing tools, with options to crop the image, add emojis, texts, drawings and even other stickers. Despite being exclusive to the web version, the stickers can also be used in the mobile version of WhatsApp without further complications.

To create a figurine on the PC using the tool, you must have the latest version from WhatsApp Web. Check out the step-by-step guide below and learn how to create your own sticker through the platform.

1. Open a conversation, click on the attachment icon (paper clip) and then on the stickers button;

2. Select an image downloaded to your computer and load it into the application to generate a new sticker;

3. The image will be uploaded to WhatsApp Web in a small image editor;

4. Now, you will be able to add texts, stickers, in addition to choosing the type of font, colors and cropping parts of the image if you wish.

If the feature still doesn't appear for you, have a little patience. According to WhatsApp, it may take a few days for the update to reach all users. The company also announced that the Desktop version will receive the news in the coming days.
