The company points out that all music without copyright is part of its internal library and, at least for now, there is no integration with Spotify and other music platforms. Understand all the details.
Uppbeat is a great tool for content creators
Founded in January 2021, Upbeat is a startup known internationally for providing copyright-free music to anyone who edits videos for the internet.
We all know that one of the main rules of content platforms is that the music used in productions should only be used by those who have the reproduction rights. And, if not, a person may not only have their video taken down, but even lose their profile/channel.
Thinking of putting an end to this problem, the Upbeat leveraged the success of artificial intelligence in 2023 to integrate the ChatGPT its extensive library. The use is very simple and automated: just describe the video you need to put a soundtrack on and how you prefer the music and then, how your personality prefers the songs.
A list of up to 20 options that can be downloaded for free will be sent. The possibility of creating a music playlist for free accounts is limited to 15, but you can subscribe to one of the plans, which include more features. See them all:
- Free plan: includes 15 credits to create a music playlist, download three songs per month, access to 30% of the catalog and no need to inform Uppbeat credits;
- Premium plan: includes 200 credits to create a music playlist, unlimited downloads, access to 100% of the catalogue, premium tracks, ads free. Value: US$ 6,99 (R$ 35,27);
- Business Plan: Includes 500 credits to create a music playlist, unlimited downloads, access to 100% of the catalog, premium tracks, ads free, license to 10 YouTube channels and use of songs in large-scale ads. Value: US$ 18,99 monthly (R$ 95,81 in direct conversion).
To take the test, you need to create an account and check if a paid plan is worth it in your day to day life. With you can create up to 20 playlists with the help of ChatGPT, you will not be required to make any payments until you see fit.
The subscription of the plans can be made in the UK startup's official website.

Step 4: already in "Your Personality“, as the translation indicates, just talk about your personality (or who is in the video) to receive even more assertive songs.
Step 5: ending in “Anything Else“, you can add details from your video that you consider relevant. And when you're done filling in one or all of the fields, just click on the paper airplane icon and let the artificial intelligence work.
