Tutorial: How to disable game requests on Facebook

Getting multiple requests from your friends to start playing one of those little Facebook, like Candy Crush Saga, Farmville, can get pretty annoying. But there is a very simple way to stop these notifications via your smartphone's web browser, or via the social network app for Android or iOS.

These are the steps:

• Go to the page of Facebook Mobile or app for iOS or Android;
• click on the menu icon, located at the top right of the page;

• Scroll down the page until you find the option "Account configurations", click on it;
• Select option "Applications";

• Then click on Consumer Relations Platform;
• Then you will see the option to receive game invites, the default option is “Yes”; just select "No".

There is another way to block notifications quickly and it works beyond games. Unlike the method presented above, this one works only by computer. By clicking on the notifications icon, you will notice that there is a small “x” next to each notification. By clicking on the “x”, Facebook will ask if you want to receive fewer notifications of that type, then just confirm.
