New trend in the air! This time we are talking about Random photo, an application feature CapCut which makes a compilation of photos and videos that overlap each other along with some music you like. After organizing your media in CapCut, simply share the file on your favorite social network. Let's learn how to do it!
How to make Photo Random

- After downloading, access the application, accept the terms and, on the main screen, click on “Córdoba“, which is on the bottom bar;

- Now in the search bar at the top, search for “Random photo";

- Several models will be displayed, see which one you think is the coolest and choose it. For this tutorial we chose the first model. Once you decide which model you want, click the green button “use model” — you may need to give the app permission to access your photos, if so, allow it;

- Now it's time to select all the media you want to insert into your video. Are 31 media for a video that will last 7 seconds. A tip is not to use flat images, which do not contain so many layers or planes, such as landscape images;

- After selecting all the media that will be part of your video, click on “Visualize“, in the lower right corner;

- As the button suggests, you will be able to see how your video turned out, with the 31 media compiled. This version is raw, but it is possible to make edits to each selected image. The options are “Replace“, to choose another medium instead of that one; "Cut out“, to move your media in the ideal position and also “Volume” for music adjustment;

- Whenever you want to check how the final work turned out after your edits, just scroll the player — the circle in the middle of the screen — to the beginning and then click on the play button — the triangle on the left. When your short video is finished, click the “Export", at the top right corner;

- On the next screen, the option “export settings“. If you are not interested in making further adjustments, proceed to the next step. Here you can click on “1080p” to open a screen of quality options, which vary between 480p, 720p and 1080p — and in the case of the iPhone, it also offers the option of Smart HDR, converting your short video into an HDR video. Remembering that the higher the quality chosen, the larger the file. Click in "Done” to finish this adjustment or on the arrow pointing to the left, to return to the previous screen;

- Now you can click the “Save and Share on TikTok” or the file icon on the left, which will give you more sharing options — which are for the WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram e Other. Under “Other” you can download the file to your device and share it on any network at any time.

The app even reminds you that if you share using the “Save and Share to TikTok” button, your video will not come with the CapCut watermark. Any other option — such as sharing via other means or saving to your device — the watermark will be present in the upper right corner.

Pretty easy, right? If you still lack some incentive to participate in the trend, search for “Photo Random” on Instagram or TikTok to see how filled with these media is — although it is quite possible that your social networks are crowded with people posting their photos in this style. Despite this song being the most used, other people are choosing other soundtracks to accompany their videos.
