How to install and configure

How to use SayHi for travel and work

SayHi is a very practical travel translation app. Basically you can use the sayhi to translate the conversation in two ways: using the microphone from your cell phone or typing or text.

First, you need to choose the conversation languages ​​by selecting the option just below the button for each microphone. The installation default is Portuguese and Spanish. When selecting any of the languages, an extensive list of languages ​​and dialects will appear. Here, we select the English of United States.

When selecting a language, the options shown in the image above will appear:

1. Input: Choose the microphone button behavior for this language. If it will work in “Tap to speak, hold to type“, or if you prefer the opposite, “Tap to type, hold to speak".
2. Voice: Select whether the translation audio voice will be female ou Male.
3. And finally, the speed of the translated audio.

It is highly recommended to display the default message that explains that the sayhi uses the audios of the conversation for translation into cloud of Amazon. This message appears automatically before using the chat feature and can also be accessed at any time by clicking on the silhouette icon with the letter “i” in the top right corner of the app’s main screen.

Now just tap the microphone button for the corresponding language and speak close to your device's microphone and the translation will appear. Remember to turn up the volume on your phone to hear the translated audio clearly.
