Unfortunately, isolation can create some situations for those who are isolated from everyone, such as a feeling of loneliness and, in some cases, even depression. 3 - Zoom Meetings

Like Hangouts Meet, the Zoom Meetings is a tool focused on video calls for market professionals. Most plans are focused on companies, but there is a free version for individual users. With the service, it is possible to hold meetings with up to 500 people and up to 10 people for webinars – in this case, users can only visualize, as in a lecture.

The application also uses the strategy of sending invitation links and guests do not necessarily need to be registered on the site. One of the great differentials is the possibility of recording and storing videoconferences unlimitedly. Unlike other options that are focused on professionals, Zoom does not require business email.

The free plan offers videoconferencing rooms for up to 100 people, with a limit of 40 minutes per meeting. The other plans cost up to R$ 1.799. Besides the version sem apps, Zoom Meetings is available for Android, iOS and PC.

4 - Houseparty

5 - WhatsApp

7 - Instagram

Beside the Facebook e Twitter, Instagram is one of the most used social networks around the world and, of course, it also offers video calls to its users. Like WhatsApp, the service is only available on smartphones Android e iOS, there is currently no web option.

In addition to video calling, the social network recently announced the new feature of “co-watching” to meet the demand caused during the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic. The feature allows users to make video calls and view Instagram content at the same time. The novelty is gradually reaching consumers.

To use the new feature, simply hold a video conference with friends and click on “Media” in the lower right corner of the screen. Then, the content timeline will open to share the “Instagram moment” with those you love.

Bonus – Microsoft Teams

Recently, the Microsoft Teams has completed three years since its launch and also to meet the demand that emerged after the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, great updates were released. Teams, like the Zoom, is a platform focused on the education market and the corporate world.

In addition to allowing voice and video calls with more than 250 users, Teams is a complete collaboration platform. The software allows storing and sharing files among users. Microsoft even integrated the system with the Office 365 service, so users can create documents in Teams itself.

Of course, the tool offers several paid options, however, the free plan has video conferencing. Microsoft Teams is available for Android, iOS e PC.
