Bug alert
Although the iOS 18 developer beta is available for free download, it is important to understand some points before installing. The first betas like this are intended for developers to test their apps on new versions of iOS. This process also allows developers identify and report bugs, helping Apple improve the software before its official release to the public. That's one of the main reasons to reconsider downloading the iOS 18 developer beta on your device — the bugs.
Software errors or others failures can make your phone unstable. Some of your favorite applications may not work properly, and even if they do, there is a possibility that unexpected crashes. Your phone's overall performance may suffer, and the developer beta may slow down your device, drain the battery faster than usual, or even cause it to overheat. But if you don't want to wait the next few months until the official release of the update, below we have the complete tutorial on how to download the new iOS 18!
Tutorial
Before downloading iOS 18 Beta, you need to register briefly on the website Apple Developer. Access the website and click Account, at the top right corner.
A login will be required. Enter your Apple ID (login and password to access your Apple account);
A screen with warnings about your Apple ID and privacy will appear. Once aware, click Continue;
A message will then appear asking if the computer you are using is trustworthy to remember your login details. We do not recommend that you click Trust, if you are not doing this on your personal computer. In this case you can click Not now to continue (or Trust, if it is on a secure device);
And finally, you can check Apple's contract on Apple Developer membership. After science, mark the square box and check “Yes“, if you wanted to receive news and updates about Apple Developers, or in “No” to decline. Finish by clicking Submit.
Ready! When you see the screen below, you already have your active registration and with the account eligible for update your iPhone to iOS 18 Beta.
Now let's go step by step, on the iPhone, about how to update iPhone to iOS 18 Beta:
Step 1: open the app Settings;
Step 2: Scroll down a little and select the option General;
Step 3: Now choose Software update;
Step 4: Due to the previous link on the Apple Developer site, the option Beta Updates will be available. It will appear, by default, disabled. Select it;
