How to install WhatsApp on a computer

O WhatsApp is the favorite messaging app for Brazilians and is also one of the most used worldwide. To make our lives easier, it is available not only for use on the cell phone, but also on the computer, either online or installed. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to download and install WhatsApp on your computer.

Installing or WhatsApp no ​​computer

1 – To download and install, you can choose two paths: the Windows or the application's website. From the store, simply access the “Store” application on the Windows and search for the app. Then you click on the icon of the “WhatsApp Desktop”, as shown in the image below, and click on the install option;

2 - If you can't get through the store (if your Windows is outdated, for example), just enter the website of the WhatsApp, click on the icon download and save the file. It is available for Mac e Windows;

2 – After downloading, you need to enter the directory where you saved and run the file by double clicking on it. Click “Run” when the Windows do the security check. So, just wait for the installation;

3 – After installation, the program opens and you need to authorize the connection by cell phone. To do this, open the application on the phone and click on the Menu icon (three dots in the upper right corner), as shown below;

4 – Then click on “WhatsApp Web” and then on the “+” icon in the upper right corner;

5 – The next step is to scan the QR Code that appears on your computer screen to your cell phone. Centralize the code and that's it, your conversations appear on the left side of the screen. You must keep your phone connected to the internet so that you can use the application on your computer;

Using without installation

Unfortunately, we don't always have permissions to install programs on some computers. For those who have this limiting factor, the application can be used in online form. Just open a browser and enter the website of the Web WhatsApp.

The following procedure is very similar to the previous one. Click on the Menu icon, choose the option of “WhatsApp Web” and scan the code. As with the installed program, your conversations will appear on the left side of the screen and just use it.
