How to follow websites using Google Chrome for Android

Like the old Google Reader, the new functionality is based on RSS technology. One feed RSS is nothing more than a tool used to bring chronological updates of new content on a website, blog or portal.

In addition to indications selected by Google, the idea of ​​following a website will be like subscribing to its content, where new articles from the website will appear on your feed from Chrome regularly.

How to enable webfeed

The new tool will be available by default for some users. If it is not enabled on your Chrome for Android, you will need to access the address chrome://flag in your search bar to access experimental features, then search for and activate the Web Feed option.

Once activated, the way to use this new tool is very simple.

1. Choose a site and click on the three points in the top right corner of your screen.

2. Find and select the option “Follow".

3. After following a website, you will see a confirmation screen, just close ou open the website in a new tab.

4. Now, new articles from sites you follow will start appearing on Chrome's homepage and when you tap on “Following”, you will also be able to view content from other websites that you follow.

How to unfollow websites

If you no longer want to follow any of the sites on your list, follow the same steps to the three-point menu and choose the option that will now appear as “Following”, by clicking on this option, you will automatically stop receiving news from that site.

The new tool will also provide a way to unfollow several sites at once, bringing a simple, quick and easy way to clean your feed.

1. Click on gear that appears on your browser's home screen.

2. Select the option "to manage".

Then select the option “Following” and choose the sites you want to unfollow.

Just like manage your Web Feed

You can also manage the contents of your Web Feed according to your interests.

Also in gear from the home screen, select “to manage".

Then choose the option “interests”.

now just to choose e remover the subjects you want to have on your Google homepage.
