This week, Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Meta, shared the arrival of the program Goal Verified in the country, promising extra resources and the famous blue seal in the Facebook, Instagram and even in the new Threads. The goal is to make it easier for content creators to establish an online presence, confirmed with verification of official government identity (CNH or RG) and build their communities on the company's social networks. Here's how to get verified:

The monthly subscription is available for purchase at a cost of R$55 for Instagram/Threads and R$55 to the Facebook. It can be purchased directly within each social network application (on iPhones/iOS or Android smartphones).
Mark Zuckerberg also announced that there will be no changes to accounts that were verified before the launch of Goal Verified, who will keep the verification badge for free.
What is Meta Verified?

O Goal Verified is a monthly subscription service from Facebook, Instagram e Threads, where the company confirms the profile owner's data with verification of official government documents, giving the account more legitimacy. The plan also includes proactive protection and account support.
The idea is – besides being a new source of income for the company – help content creators increase their presence on the company's social networks and build a community faster and more securely, ensuring the authenticity of a profile with the check stamp, which was initially restricted to celebrities, experts and public figures.
Meta's proposal goes beyond of what is already seen on Twitter, for actually confirming the profile with official government documents.
Be sure of the identity of the person signing the Goal Verified and really being able to say that the accounts are safe and that people are who they say they are is very important, and that's why Meta does a series of checks before, during, and after someone enrolls in the program.
What is included in the Meta Verified subscription?

Some extra features will be available to those who have subscribed to the program. Some rumors stated that the engagement and reach of verified accounts would also be increased, however this information was not confirmed by Meta and therefore is not considered among the available resources. What the content creator will receive when subscribing to the program is:
- Verification stamp, which guarantees that that person is who he says he is and that his account was authenticated with an official identification document, provided by the government of his country;
- More account protection and proactive monitoring against fake profiles, which often use the image of people who have a larger audience;
- Priority support, with the help of a real person to solve any problems that the account may present;
- Exclusive features like exclusive stickers in Stories and Reels on Facebook and Instagram, and where available, 100 Stars per month on Facebook to send in support of other creators.

In the longer term, the company intends to create a subscription option for more audiences beyond creators, including businesses and the wider community. As part of that objective, the Meta is looking to improve the definition of verified accounts on its platforms so that it can expand access to verification and more users get verified and can also trust that the accounts they interact with are genuine.
