Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch 2 Max appear on the internet as an idea of what the next generation of the console could be

Recently, a concept of the Nintendo Switch 2, with a render that gives an idea of what fans envision for Nintendo's next-generation console design. Although there is no official information about the launch of a new version or any other console update, this idea seems to have been inspired by other rumors that also made some fans more anxious. In addition to the Nintendo Switch 2, the concept also proposes a premium version of the device: the Nintendo Switch 2 Max, a more improved model. Just take a look at what appeared!

Switch 2 coming?

There were several initiatives by fans to imagine what Nintendo's next console would look like. An interesting concept previously proposed is that of a foldable console, but the idea seemed to have been ignored even by fans - unlike this new idea. This concept of the Nintendo Switch 2 was shared briefly on Reddit and removed shortly thereafter. The publication featured an image of what would be the Nintendo Switch 2 box, an image of the instruction manual and also the Nintendo Switch XNUMX box. Nintendo Switch 2 Max.

It is very important to emphasize that this information is nothing more than ideas and concepts, cannot be considered as leaks of what could be a next console in fact. There are several indications that point to its lack of authenticity. For example, when zooming in on model names, we can see significant distortions in the words and wording. logo — the latter is also not in line with the current icon. Additionally, the side panel images feature distorted perspectives, which is not in keeping with Nintendo's design standards.

Another interesting detail to notice is for the number 2 stamped on the box, which in the images appears more discreetly. Knowing a little about the company's history, the number that indicates a better console would possibly have some prominence. It may not be something more exaggerated, but it certainly wouldn't be such timid information either.

One thing that stands out is the control Reworked Joy-Con, which seems to have a sliding mechanism similar to the current one, but with a kind of “outer cover” that protects it. Considering Nintendo's strategy with different versions of the Switch, such as Small, it wouldn't be surprising if they released more than one premium model for their next generation of consoles. It is possible that there are variants, such as this Max version, and thus, the model OLED could become pattern across the board.

There is not much information about how the model Max differs from the standard model, but judging by what is displayed on the box, apparently the Max model will feature a support similar to current dock. This support is much more discreet than the dock and should have the same recharge and transmission function for a TV. Another detail also noticed in the image is the size of the box, indicating that the Max model can be larger than the standard model.

Concept not to everyone's liking

Despite looking like a great surprise, not all fans loved the idea. Whether due to the lack of faithfulness to details — like the console's logo, for example — or simply not attracting attention at first, the concept of Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch 2 Max failed to reach everyone positively.

Another point that was also not well received is the space left between the Joy-Cons and the console, when coupled. Although the detail already exists in current models, it is something very subtle and that, even so, is something more symmetrical. In the NS2 concept, these cracks are more exposed, which led to more criticism.
