Watch the new trailer for “Snoopy and Charlie Brown: Peanuts the Movie”

Childhood is almost always portrayed like a sweet period of life. Cinema and TV are largely responsible for building narratives that reinforce the idyllic image of this period. However, some works seek to approach the theme with more complexity, also contemplating the fear, confusion and melancholy of childhood. No one, however, has done it as Charles Schulz, creator of Charlie Brown and your gang.

Almost 15 years after the death of Schulz, the fans of Peppermint will have the opportunity to see the innocent and sensitive character in a revamped version. Based on the iconic comic strips, the animation “Snoopy and Charlie Brown: Peanuts, The Movie"(The Peanuts Movie) will be released in EUA em 6 November this year.

A 3D animation was produced by the studio Blue Sky and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox. in the direction will be Steve Martino ( "Ice Age 4") based on the screenplay written by his son Charles, Craig Schultz. The feature also features another member of the Schulz family having Bryan Schultz (grandson), as one of the film's producers alongside Cornelius Uliano.

This will be the fifth feature film based on the comic strips, breaking a long hiatus from 35 years since the last movie made. The launch will celebrate the 65th anniversary of the comics and the 50 years of "Charlie Brown's Christmas"(Charlie Brown Christmas). in the plot Snoopy will duel with your enemy the Red Baron, While Charlie Brown will try to win the affection of the little red-haired girl.

The nostalgic fans (like the one who writes you) may be surprised by the new look of the drawing. In addition to the layout, we can see from the trailer that the classical music and jazz soundtrack gave space to the classic rock of the The Who. The animation is scheduled to premiere here in Brazil on January 14, 2016. In the meantime, check out the trailer!
