Daniel Radcliffe could star in the GTA movie!

Daniel Radcliffe, eternal Harry Potter, could star in the new film about Grand Theft Auto produced by the beautiful BBC Two.

Daniel Radcliffe, the eternal Harry Potter, could star in a new drama produced by BBC Movies. The new film will chronicle the creation and success of the series Grand Theft Auto and, as it could not be different, it will also portray the controversy caused by the violent content of the game and the fight between the creator of GTA and Jack Thompson, a Miami attorney who wanted to ban the game because of its violence.

Danielwill interpret Sam Houser, British co-founder and president of Rockstar Games. Thompson's role has yet to be cast, but the attorney is known to have often sought restitution from Rockstar when violent crimes were committed by people who had played GTA. Jack was expelled in 2008 for professional misconduct.

The film's title has yet to be defined. currently called Gamechanger, has been under other titles: Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto.

The feature, which will last 90 minutes, will be directed by Owen harris, who directed 3 episodes of Misfits in 2010 and more recently an episode of Black Mirror in 2013. The producer will be Jim Spencer and the executive producer will be Mark Hedgecoe, producer of The Challenger. The screenplay was written by James Wood.

The drama is based on the book Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto by journalist and author David Kushner. In Brazil, the book was released in 2014 by the publisher DarkSide with the title: The Great Outlaw: The Origin of GTA.

Filming is scheduled to begin on April 20. As for the game GTA V, which is now available for Ps3, Ps4, Xbox 360 and One, Coming to PCs April 14th.
