Launched in December last year, the application Dell MobileConnect Allows user to mirror smartphone screen directly on PC. When using it, in addition to seeing everything on your cell phone screen projected on your computer screen, you can also view notifications, receive calls, among other features.
However, not all computers Dell could use this feature, as a specific drive was required that was present in only a few devices. Now, the company has just updated the list of supported computers, and the application is released for all devices that have Windows 10.
In this article we show you how it works and teach you how to use it.
Install and start using
Like any computer program, you need to first install it on your machine to start using it. The first step is to access the Microsoft Store and download it for free. Then just download the Dell MobileConnect on your smartphone, as the integration is done between the applications installed on your machine and on your cell phone.
The mobile app is available for multiple operating systems, so it's no problem if you use, Android, iOS ou 10 Windows Mobile. The integration is done via Bluetooth, so it is also necessary that your PC has this functionality.
Mirroring cell phone to computer for the first time
First it will be necessary to connect the cell phone with the computer, even before opening the Dell Mobile Connect. The process is the same as connecting a Bluetooth headset or mouse. Connect the cell phone, and only then open the mirroring application.

After the connection to the computer has already been made, open Dell Mobile Connect, and select the device you want to integrate with the application. A password will be generated in your mobile app, and you simply enter it when prompted.

Once the integration is done, you can now mirror the content being shown on your phone and also use the apps normally. You can send messages on WhatsApp, order an Uber, and even use Google Maps.
It is worth noting that for the Dell MobileConnect work, no internet connection is required.
Company hopes to rebuild the Dell MobileConnect
As we said above, when it was released for download, only a few PCs were able to run the application that allows smartphone screen mirroring, and that made it not so successful.
The current release for all computers with Windows 10 may make the use of the application more common, since now it is enough to have the updated version of the system from Microsoft and a computer with Bluetooth.
