It's from Brazil! Positivo presents its new line of smartphones

The capital of São Paulo received, on the morning of this Tuesday (24/02/2015), the Positivo launches to win over the Brazilian public mobile. At an event held at the comedy club comedians, the Brazilian company's new devices were presented to journalists and technology experts, in a ceremony with lots of information and good humor. The presentation was attended by the vice-president of Mobility and responsible for the division of production and commercialization of Positivo Informática's cell phones, Norberto Maraschin Filho, of the Vice President Marketing and Products, Mauricio Roorda, in addition to the president of Grupo Positivo and Positivo Informática, Helio Bruck Rotenberg.

A Positive Computing is a Brazilian company, located in Curitiba, which is part of the Positive Group. The division is 10th biggest computer manufacturer in the world, in addition to producing software educational, electronic games, set-top box for Brazilian digital television. Recently, it launched its line of cell phones in the Brazilian market and smartphone. In 2014, it announced its expansion plan in the national tablets e smartphones.

With about 1,5% of participation in the internal market of mobile, Impact sought to know the aspirations of Brazilians in mobile devices through several studies, most of them in their Human Lab, an internal user experience laboratory, in which it seeks to understand the final consumer's reactions to new technologies or new products. “Since our entry into retail, we have seen the need to invest in understanding consumer behavior and how they use certain devices.” says Norberto Maraschin Filho, vice president of Mobility at Positive Computing.

For the launch of new smartphones, the process was no different. In the last quarter of 2014, studies were carried out with nine groups of men and women, from classes B and C, aged between 18 and 50 years, in which the smartphone appeared as an extension of the user's body to facilitate routine, access and produce content and be increasingly connected.

The attributes most valued and frequently mentioned by the researched group were: speed in the execution of applications, size, quality and resistance of the screen, design, storage capacity, most up-to-date operating system and camera resolution. Positive Octa X800

We are very pleased that Positivo is the first company in Brazil to manufacture octa-core smartphones with the MT6592 processor”, says Finbarr Moynihan, Global Corporate Sales Manager at MediaTek.

First impressions

Although it was a superficial contact, the first impression of the new line of smartphones from Impact it is very good. The highlight is, of course, the Positive Octa X800, which has a good grip with its elegant finish and appears to be very fast.

O Positive S550 is also a very interesting option, with its 5,5-inch screen of good resolution (apparent). Finally, the Positive P30 can be a great insight for the company, which arrives as the first feature phone with 3G connectivity in the national market.
