The news is excellent for those who want to share the bill at the bar table or in a restaurant. To use the function, just open a conversation or start another one and look for the money symbol ($). Then you can choose who to send the money to or who to charge.

You can either select all people in the group or just select a few. In the app, you can even split the bill evenly or at certain values, which seems to be really practical for situations where you go out to eat with friends.

The user can specify the reason for order (bill, gift, race, etc). The message will appear in the chat showing who paid and how much was the amount.

Mobile payment via Facebook

Unfortunately, the function is only available in the United States and has no date to arrive in Brazil. The group payment tool will be released in principle for Android, but for now, the only method of making these payments is via the desktop (which seems pretty weird to me).

Soon, the novelty should also arrive for iOS.

In Brazil, Samsung Pay is the first cardless mobile payment service, even though the company still does not support all of the country's largest banks. Apple, on the other hand, was unable to debut Apple Pay either in Italy or Germany yet. While apps test payments on their products, as Snapchat does, just wait and see if companies are interested in launching the function here or if it will be something only in the United States and Europe.

When the news of Facebook Messenger is available in Brazil, we will bring the information to you.
