Event brings fans together to celebrate Dragonflight launch

A Blizzard, to celebrate the arrival of its new expansion for the game World of Warcraft, called dragonflight, held a celebration for fans of the game at Lucci House, in São Paulo, on Thursday, the 17th. We, from Showmetech, were there to check everything up close and bring you what happened in this epic event in Capital Paulista.

The official content of the expansion will be released next November 28th and, currently, the Blizzard some already available patches pre-release for gamers World of Warcraft.

How was the Dragonflight launch event?

So that everyone present could feel more immersed in the universe of the game and imagine themselves as part of the legendary characters of Azeroth, Blizzard took great care in decorating the place, presenting visitors with small scenarios of the Dragon Islands that will be present in the game's universe, the new continent that can be explored by players in the expansion of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

In addition to the themed ornaments, visitors were also presented with food served to everyone during the occasion. From the drinks, inspired by the potions that we can find or even manufacture in our journeys through Azeroth, as well as dishes, based on foods that exist within the game, to set the mood and make guests feel like real members of the Alliance ou Horde.

As well as community members and influencers, the event held by Blizzard in São Paulo was attended by Claudia Camp, Mr. Manager, Public Relations & Events – Latin America (Senior Manager, Public Relations and Events – Latin America) and Guido Alves, Senior Operations Manager for Blizzard in Brazil.

About the new World of Warcraft expansion

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, is the ninth expansion released for the universe of Azeroth, which in addition to introducing the continent of Isle of Dragons to the game, brings with it several mechanics, such as the ability to tame these winged creatures and use them as mounts, as well as the possibility of customizing your pet, until it becomes your own .

Another big change in the game is the fact that, after years of conflicts, characters from the Alliance and the Horde cooperate together to advance the story. Although this possibility already exists since May, the launch of the additional content of World of Warcraft: Dragon Flight will provide even more alternatives for players to share these moments together. Without the need for characters to share the same factions, as it used to be in the past.

Fortunately, the Blizzard also committed itself and promises to bring reformulations to systems already known by the player community. The maximum level to be reached will be expanded to 70 and mechanics of the talent tree and professions will undergo major updates, as well as the game interface, which will become more customizable by the user.

Finally, in preparation for the official launch on the 28th, the Blizzard has already started releasing some of the content for players waiting for World of Warcraft: Dragon Flight, via pre-release patches. One was even launched this week, containing several news for all users.
